Ski Resort Chotouň

Ski Areal Chotoun offers an ideal experience for beginners and those looking for a short skiing session. The well-maintained slopes and friendly, English-speaking staff contribute to a positive atmosphere. Reasonable prices make it accessible, and the added bonus of nighttime skiing until 9pm adds flexibility to your skiing adventures. Overall, a great choice for a casual skiing experience.

It's not very big but the snow is very good, the maintenance and operation is very standard, and staff is very nice, which is very suitable for beginners. The point is only half an hour from Prague, there's sufficient parking and not many people at night.

This winter season has gone quite a bit, althought in January did not really suit the quality of snow, but in the aftermath of the massive night doing snow, the terain was a day full of amazing hills, like in ,,Arrabe, Italy,, 😍, I loved it very much with my children.
In Chotoun in the ski area, there are some news. There is a new stationary snow cannon at the top of the slope for more snow at the top of the slope. Otherwise, every day we look forward to more frost so that we can snow and go skiing over Christmas.

Great place for kids. They had snow even though it was 10 degrees outside. The kids area was free that day due to the lack of snow. Their little restaurant had almost everything. Will go back for sure since it is like 40 min outside Prague.

A very good (rather small) ski slope. Close to Prague, you can take lessons, special area for beginners, artificial good snow (even when outside temperature is 9 degrees).

Lovely ski resort for families with kids

Half an hour drive from Prague (south). Plenty of parking space. Great skiing and snowboarding school for kids. Reasonable prices, kind people.

Excellent for beginners, ski instructor/teachers were amazing and their English was excellent. The only downside is ski lesson booking system.

Had an amazing time in the ski school. We all enjoyed it a lot and the instructors were fantastic.
