Lookout Kelčský Javornik

Highest peak of Hostyn-Vsetin range. It can be windy and cold up there and don’t make the same mistake we did, thinking it can be reached easily on a bike. It’s absolutely NOT easy, there are some hardcore inclines and descends so be ready. I’d say this is hiking only, leave the bike at home for this one.

Just walking from this place and have to say it was worthy to visit.Since the tower is located on the top of the hill named Kelcsky Javornik on the top on the tower you reach almost 900m above the sea.Beautiful point of view from the top, recommended. Probably the best way how to get there is parking in Rajnochovice village and walk 8.5km apx. 2 hours mostly up hill but no drama;) Pretty easy how to get there, even google maps can navivate you over there. Nice lookout tower with great views. Definitely a good destination for a hike if you are in the area. There's no food or drink nearby, so be sure to bring your own. However, there's restaurants near the parking before the hike.

Quite new (a few years old) tower. Freely accessible, quite tall and standing on the highest hill in the surrounding area. Great view when the weather is nice. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area (which is perfect for light hiking with family etc.).
The second visit:
My second visit after several years was in quite windy weather - the tower felt very safe, it was a bit strange feeling to stand at the top in the strong wind, there was no noticable movement in construction because of the wind, all was rock solid.

The outlook tower is accessible by either hiking one of two marked trails (yellow, green) leading to the tower, or by cycling using the paved road (no entry for cars) leading from the village Rajnochovice to the top of the hill Kelčský Javorník.

Nice lookout tower, with the "classic" toilets nearby. Nice view to Haná lowlands , Beskydy, Javorníky and Hostýnské vrchy, sometimes even much farther.

Krásný výhled do krajiny na všechny možné strany. Vstupné je dobrovolné, 10Kč snad zvládne dát každý. Dole je lavečka a stůl na rychlé občerstvení. Rozhledna se nachází cca 20m od původní dřevěné, která byla kvůli havarijnímu stavu rozebrána někdy kolem rokem 2000. Poblíž se nachází vysílač mobilního operátora O2.

Moc pěkná rozhledna, krásné výhledy a nahoře i značení, kde co v dáli vidíte. Dole ohniště, posezení, WC a dokonce i razítko rozhledny, které bylo funkční. Jediné, co mě mrzí, bylo, že není nikde možné sehnat turistickou vizitku rozhledny. Všude o víkendu zavřeno. Jeli jsme kvůli tomu až na Hostýn a tam nám bylo řečeno, že před půl hodinou zavřeli, a to bylo jen 15:30 hod.
