State Castle Bečov

This was really interesting and nice place.. The train trip was beautiful and the arrival into the city was tranquil. The castle is well maintained and the exhibition does a marvelous job of telling the story of the sacred relique

You can use a couple of hours on the main exhibition

After the tour you can go up to the view post or out into the court yard

During my visit the yard was full of merchants selling various goods

This is the one of most interesting castle in Czechia...the history of treasure hidden by escaping castle Lords in 1945 and found during agent touched story is deep communistic year 1985 is seriously freezing all the guests. The story of treasure renovation and final come back to castle is very well described in the expositions and I have to say...it will catch you 😎

Beautiful! One of the places you must visit in Czechia. They have a shrine, that is the second most expensive thing here, just after the crown and those stuff. This shrine also have a cool history, which would be a good movie. The price is quite expensive, for 200 Kč (2018). To find the place is horrible, no signs. Next to it there are nice restaurants, with good price.

One of the top sigts to visit in Karlovy Vary region. The interactive exhibition of St. Maur's Reliquary has explanations both in Czech and in English, both impressive and entertaining. Another eye candy is their open air walk path around the castle explaining various details about life in Middle Ages

Very beautiful castle with original furniture and a garden. Unluckily there wasn't a guided tour in English and we were given a written translation of what the guide was supposed to say. It was not very easy to read and watch the rooms at the same time. Parking in the town.

A really nice chateau and castle. And you can see here Reliquary of St. Maurus, which is maybe more precious than Czech Crown Jewels.

A wonderful place in the middle of pretty much nowhere housing one of the most valuable Czech treasures. Great even for a walk around and just seeing the nature.

Interesting castle and chateau with a gem inside. The Reliquary of St. Maurus, one of the most important European artifacts, is located here. Really a must-see.

There is a sport climbing area in behind the castle offering well marked routes and boulders.

We took the Reliquary tour....... Very interesting.... And the reliquary itself is unbelievable!!

Reliquary of St. Maurus is beautiful. Entrance is 130kc for adult. worth to see.
