Lake Lhota

My favorite lake near Prague. It’s clean, it has sandy beaches and nice bars and restaurants around. There is also part for nudists and part with forest and trees. There are toilets and showers as well. Good for families with kids or friends too. Dogs are not allowed.

Nice lake to come and enjoy with your family. The water is very clean and clear. Is good to consider that you will pay for the parking and for the entrance per person.

Very nice lake surrounded by pine trees. There’s parking for 100czk. I don’t understand why the entrance fee to the lake varies depending on where you enter… it can be 50czk or 100czk. There’s places to buy food and drink surrounding the lake, paddle board rentals too. One new bar/restaurant is very beach and has a nice beach vibe, it’s called Na Brehu. It’s a lake with sand, the smell of pine trees is divine, and the water is clean and has a nice green blue colour. On weekends or hot days it can be unbearably crowded. There’s kids activities and beach toys (zip line, park). There’s a nudist section too. All in all a great experience to get away from the city and have a nice swim.

Nice environment, near to Prague, large car park with shade from the trees, clean and lukewarm water, sand on the bottom and on the shore, possibility to buy refreshments for reasonable price, pine trees giving enough protection from the sun, might be rather crowded on hot sunny days..

Beautiful lake to swim and have a good time. The closest thing to a "beach" that I’ve seen in the Czech Republic. Only like 30 min away from Prague.

What a lovely lake, surrounded by nature. Delicious food and drinks available also in the area. Looking forward to spending many summer days here.

Beautiful lake with clear water at about 22 degrees. Sandy beaches with lots of food and drink places.

Superb place. Half an hour from Prague. There is no public transportation available to this place. Plenty of space to park. 100 krones the parking cost. Arriving in the afternoon can be a bit problematic to find a parking spot. They have a nudist part. It wasn't hard for us to find a place near the water with shadow and not too many people. The water is clean and had a pleasant temperature. There are bins to throw your trash. If you can't swimm, be careful, because the deep part starts nearby.

The shower is great idea to wash off the sand but it is cold as a tap water.

Such an amazing and relaxing place! The water is clean and warm, there are restaurants, bars and even paddleboard rental. The coastal sand does not have any shells or rocks. Definitely recommended to go for a whole day.

Lhota is great as it has many sides: kiddie friendly, adult friendly. You can rent sup board, eat langos or burger, have a sour beer... it offers many options..more than average lakes.

A very beautiful lake for Czech Republic. Facilities are all closed on a raining day on a Saturday.

I really love this place. Clean water and beach, plenty of kiosks and other facilities. Thanks to all those pine trees around you can get enough shadow.

Best lake to enjoy a quiet time near Prague (about 35km from Prague). There is a family zone to take kids to, and a nudist zone for naked swimming. Can get very crowded on week days or weekends, during Summertime, especially after work on weekdays. There is a fee to pay for parking and a fee for getting access to the lake side (200czk in total). Usually after 5PM, the cashier's are gone home and access is free, and the nude zone gets hotter, with fun finders around that time. It's worth a visit😅.
