Gallows Hill Mnichovice

Less than 30 minutes from centre of Prague and this is ideal for those learning to ski or wishing to improve. It's not big, but also not busy, and you don't queue for a long time for the lifts.
It was more ice than snow given the temperature, but the slopes were good. Particularly impressed watching the ski school instructors teach properly and with safety first. Kids exercise and stretch before each lesson and there is a 1:1 basis for many starting out with toys and accessories to help.
There is parking but it can get crowded and busy. A small cafe shop onsite at the bottom of the ski slopes serving drinks including hot chocolate, hot Apple with hot dogs and sweets. A ski hire shop, and there is also a restaurant and hotel with a lovely children's play area. They play music to the slopes mainly English ones and could do with some more modern tunes.
The ticket office was patient with me trying to speak Czech and order tickets, and the coffee shop assistant was helpful in speaking English when I didn't understand. :)
Extra credit goes to their website also having English translation available.
I give 5 stars as it is good for what it aims to provide, the instructors and tuition and the staffs help and assistance.

Great place for kids learn ski 🎿. Kind personal. Reasonable prices. Close to Prague. I would recommend to owner place small coffee/vending machine or something like that during week days. Because closest place to purchase refreshment is on pansion. And way there with ski boots is not best walk.

A one stop, they have a full pub/restaurant with lodging. There is a bunny hill for skiing in the winter & they also have courts for volleyball & tennis. It’s awesome year around.

Great place near Prague. Ideally for kids to learn skiing. We enjoyed it

Nice little sports "complex" compete with snow cannons adorning the slopes.
The food is also to a good standard, albeit, English roast beef is generally served darker in colour, warm and without a paprika based sauce over it.

Hezký místo, dobrý pivko, výborné pečené brambory v rámci pochodu Po stopách kocoura Mikeše

Dnes jsme sem vyrazili na oběd. Personál velmi milý, vstřícný, špičkové jídlo, Na tuto dobu zde nebylo ani draho. Velmi hezké prostředí. Jen malounko se mi chce shodit půl hvězdičky za nehorkost jinak vynikajícího hovězího vývaru, ale to nejde.

Nemám výhrady k tomuto úžasnému areálu! V zimě suprový areál nejvíce vhodný pro rodinné skupiny a začátečníky s 3 sjezdovkami a jednou drahou pro boby. V létě hezké místo v přírodě s restaurací, hotel a sporty jako bowling, tenis a squash. Ubytování poněkud dražší ale zbylé služby (sportoviště, stravování a lyžování) za příznivé ceny. Restaurace je také vhodná pro oslavy po zkušenosti s pořádáním vlastních 18. narozenin.

Jedná poma, jeden provaz pro menší děti, občas fronty, je na místě i lyžařská škola, lepší objednat se předem. Pro děti ideální kopec. Zázemí v restauraci, kde dobře vaří.

Největší srub v Evropě bych zde nečekal.Jidlo dobré, velikost příloh bez příplatku.Lze jedině vytknout že jídlo nebylo příliš teplé, zřejmě studené talíře?A mnichovické pivo také nic moc.

Malá sjezdovka,ale jinak super prostředí,jídlo,ubytování moc dobrý. A pěkná tělocvična.👍
