Casa Eldys

This is by far the most beautiful casa we've stayed during our holiday in Cuba. The backyard is the beach! It's paradise!! Make sure that you watch the sunrise. The room was nice and clean. It had all the facilities we needed (airco, hot water, good beds etc). The breakfast and dinner we had at Eldys casa were delicious. And they make really good pancakes in the morning! We really recommend this casa!

One of those truly special places for us. Eldys and his family were so kind and fun, welcoming and helpful, we were really sad to say goodbye. Their place is almost at the end of the southernmost beach in Playa Larga, but a quick walk into town. It's literally right on the beach and we loved the delicious breakfasts gazing at the ocean every morning. We were foolish and didn't have dinner there, but we heard on our last day it's the best dinner in town - go for it! They have a full menu and stocked bar. AC was ice cold, and bathroom was clean and sufficient. What really made this place special for us was Eldys and his lovely wife and daughter who were all so fun to be around. You really feel like you're staying with a family member more so than anything else. Eldys was also very helpful with organizing day trips for us and transportation (tell him you want Mario to drive you around!) We went scuba diving at a couple spots around Bahia de Cochinos and it was the highlight of our trip to Cuba. Bring plenty of mosquito repellant :) ¡Gracias por todo Eldys!

This Casa is really outstanding! It is not in the center of the city, and the perfect place if you are searching for a time out at your trip. You have your "private beach" and can enjoy your meal looking in the sea while sitting at the beach. The food cooked by Eldys is really good (we had breakfast,Lunch and dinner).
I can recommend!!

Ein wunderbarer Ort, mit sehr freundlichen Menschen. Eldys und seine Frau machen den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Wir hatten das wohl beste Essen auf unserer Kuba Rundreise, Spaghetti Lobster, unglaublich lecker.

Notre séjour à Casa Eldys a été de loin le meilleur moment de nos vacances à Cuba. L’emplacement est paradisiaque, les pieds dans l’eau.
Nous avons pris le petit dej et dîner tous les jours dans ce cadre magnifique, ce qui était très pratique mais aussi les meilleurs repas qu’on ait eus en casa particular. Fruits frais et arepas tous les matins, délicieux dîners avec des ingrédients frais et locaux que ce soit le crabe, poisson ou crocodile. Les portions sont plutôt généreuses. Eldys fait aussi de très bons cocktails, et à été d’une grande aide pour nos transferts et activités sur place. Je recommande fortement !
