Playa de Playa Larga

I love the vibe here especially when the local restaurants put their tables on the beach. You can join in on a volleyball game or have a 90 minutes massage for 12$!!!!!

We loved it here. Kind people, great food, amazing snorkelling at the end of the beach. We travelled with kiddos and it was just perfect!!

Nádherná a relativně čistá písečná pláž hned za domy. Jen se tu vždy po západu slunce vyrojí mračna komárů.

Wonderful and quite clean sand beach just beside houses. Just be careful here after sunset - tons of mosquitos appears here.

Nice beach. Brown water there is because of the river and some plants there. It is not dangerous. Even we knew that we didn't swim there and moved to another beaches.

Una playita sencilla y tranquila. Especial para ir cuando hay frente frío en el occidente de Cuba por que la mar permanece tranquila gracias al viento norte y relativamente caliente (para cubanos). Tiene un largo de 2 km aproximadamente con muchas casas directo a la arena. En la zona se puede hacer buceo y pesca profesional, posibilidad de muchas excursiones interesantes en sus cercanías y vida nocturna a pesar de ser un pueblito pequeño (durante el covid está todo muerto). Es un pueblo tranquilo y seguro con mucha gente buena. Hay bastante mosquitos y jejenes (pulgas de arena o playa) así que se recomienda llevar repelente.
Definitivamente uno de mis lugares favoritos en invierno para disfrutar del mar en el occidente de la isla.

One of the worst looking beaches I had ever seen.

Pláž je možná čistá, ale voda je špinavá a odporná, místní tomu říkají řeka. Za tři dny v Playa Larga jsem neměl odvahu to tohoto hnusu vkročit. Ale směrem na Playa Giron je nádherné pobřeží s křišťálovou vodou, korály, rybami, vraky vhodné ke koupání. Auto a pro sportovce kolo, je ovšem nutností.

Absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Dreckiger Strand mit braunem dunklem Wasser.

Achtung Sandfloehe und abends viele Mücken , der Strand ist auch sonst nicht empfehlenswert.
