Isla de la Juventud

Had a once in a lifetime experience here in 1978.
Went fishing and snorkeling on the Isle Of Pines as a guest of the Cuban Govt. "Cuba Tours". Can't say much about recently though. It is a beautiful place to visit if you get the chance.

I would like to make a recommendation when visiting Isla de la Juventud, Cuba. The name of the B&B is Hostal 9 y 10 ( El Gallego)The location of the Hostal 9 y10 is 5 min from centre of the city and close from the beach Playa Bibijagua as other beaches as well allowing to easily move around. The house is very cosy and clean, so are the bedroom and bathroom (towels, beach towels and soap bar provided). The hosts are amazing, it was great to chat with Jorge and his family , who also gave us a lot of tips about places to see or where to eat. Restaurants in this area are reasonably cheap since this area is not very touristy. Very helpfull with every question we had. They even booked transportation back and forth to every location we wanted to go to and at the end of our stay they booked drop off at the airport. We highly recommend the stay in this B&B and would gladly come back.Thanks for the great hospitality, you made our trip to Isla de la Juventud very enjoyable! Well in the early sixties it was the circular prison where all political desidents used to be in- carcerated really dramatic and painfull where Father was a political prisoner later in the 70 's I works for 3 Months of an Electrician as a second expirience it was not bad named Isla de la Juventud between 1961 to 1966 was called Isla de Pinos extremely bad memories of that time even that I was a litle kid.

Un lugar para disfrutar

Nací en el año 1984 en esta Isla maravillosa estudié mi especialidad fuera de ella y volví porque nada defiendo mas que mi Isla soy pinera de pura cepa. Pertenesco a la UNEAC desde el 2016.

Es un lugar bello y posiblemente el más bello de cuba les conserva su flora y fauna vivi por 14 años en isla de la juventud

Que ricas playas tropicales y más las delicias de sus comida y amistades muy buena en pleno verano la vida misma dar te un toke, mágico mmm
