Rancho Charpito

Very highly recommended.

To me, Rancho Charpito is what excellent, local tourism is about. Felipe and his wife have built something truly special. Both of them have worked in the industry for many years, for many types of hotels, etc, and now have their own place. A visit to the lovely Rancho Charpito feels like you are visiting them at their country house (which you are!).

My wife and oldest son (25) enjoyed the horse back riding, and my twin boys (20) and I went for a mountain bike ride. It was a great way to see the beautiful countryside outside Mantanzas. We then had a great meal (local lobster and more) at Felipe's property, and discussed life in Cuba. If you are looking for something off the tourist path, this is for you. We stopped for 4+ hours on our way to the airport in Varadero from Havana. Again, highly recommended.

Exceptional expererience in this farm. Many activities to do and delicious local food. A hidden gem near Varadero!

Me encanto la visita, hicimos un recorrido, mi esposo a caballo y yo en bici, nos esperaron con un cocktail de bienvenida y al regresar tenian muchos snacks listos para nosotros. es un lugar unico, lejos de los lugares turisticos, vale la pena, el camino bajando a el rancho esta muy lindo tambien.
