I loved the place, it was an excellent experience. The only bad thing is that the vendors keep bothering you outside the place telling you that they are going to give you something for free, but then they ask you for money.

This is a magnificent sanctuary dedicated to the patroness of Cuba, the Virgen of Charity of El Cobre, located in the small town of El Cobre. Thousands of people go there every year to give thanks for her miracles, and there's a pilgrimage on September 8th.

El santuario nacional El Cobre es extremadamente lindo, un lugar donde se respira una paz profunda en un aire puro. Uno de los lugares que no se puede dejar de visitar si nos llegamos a Santiago de Cuba.

Bellissimo santuario. La devozione dei cubani e soprattutto dei"Saintaguinos" per la Madonna nera del Cobre è qualcosa di meraviglioso. Durante la festa poi (8 Settembre), diventa qualcosa di unico.

Nuestra Señora de la Caridad del Cobre, o la Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre, Caridad del Cobre o simplemente Cachita es la patrona de cuba.
La devoción que procesan los cubanos a esta virgen es muy grande y en la visita a la basílica se puede observar la fe con la que se ven orando en el templo.

La historia de esta virgen es que fue encontrada por dos indios y un cubano en cundo iban en una canoa y se encontraron la tablilla de una virgen que ponía "Yo soy la virgen de la Caridad"

Esta en una montaña y a su alrededor se puede divisar un bonito y verde paisaje.
