We had the best breakfast at this place! Everything was absolutely delicious. I had the pancakes and a mango, strawberry milkshake. I also asked for a side of potatoes, not fries, and those were super tasty too! Overall, I really reccomend checking this place out, all the workers were super friendly and attentive as well.

Amazing food and great service. Marco, the owner is great and roasts the coffee himself. Vegan options, gluten free options, breakfast, lunch, dinner.. we ate there everyday of our week-long holiday. Baristas know what they are doing! The chef is great. Nothing negative to say.

The Cheddar Chipotle Chicken Sandwich and fries were excellent! The milkshake and smoothie were so good too. Everyone in our group was pleased with their order, kids included. Very friendly and gracious staff. Simbiosis is a great place for breakfast or lunch!

The best breakfast burrito I have EVER had! Service was perfect, cappuccino and moccachino were delicious! Came back later that day for a cookies and cream drink that was perfect for dessert!

Love this place, love their food and coffee, and the people there. Went there everyday after I was able to find the place. Best coffee in Coco. Easy parking, clean place, clean & spacious bathroom, airconditioned, lots of beautiful wooden bowls, local art and souvenirs (keychains, magnets, pottery, masks, indigenous jewelry, chocolates, shirts, caps, etc.) inside, as well as tours. They accommodated my allergies and remembered it. I ate there almost everyday and also ordered takeout. All of them were delicious, fresh, well-seasoned, and portions are the same as in the US (hard to finish). I wish I was able to find the place earlier, I would've gone there everyday and maybe I would've been able to order everything in the menu. I also bought 1kg of coffee beans to bring home with me, which was roasted fresh and bagged right before I left. It smells divine. It's the kind of place that I would buy coffee from everyday if I was based there. And the food is sublime every single time. The owners and staff were very attentive, friendly, accommodating, and understands and speaks English well. I love the Boruca masks and wood bowls there, which I bought, because they're unique and well-crafted and make for an interesting souvenir. The stuff I saw there were different from all the other places I visited (which had similar designs).

Their coffee roasting is behind their cafe. I think they offer paid tours (ask Marco) or message Big Fingers Coffee Roaster to inquire. It's very interesting and will make coffee lovers appreciate coffee more.

There is a reason Simbiosis Bistro receives a consistent 5 star rating, including from me. Everything about this place is exceptional. Delicious food, fantastic coffee and smoothies and exceptional service. Highly recommended.

Fantastic little breakfast cafe! Great menu options for breakfast and lunch, and a big hot and cold beverage menu.
Every order from our party was fresh, prepared well, and tasted amazing. The huevos guanacaste was incredible, and highly recommend ordering the eggs fried.

Will definitely be coming back while we’re in town!

Oh my, I wish we’d found this restaurant earlier in our visit! While we aren’t locals, we’ve eaten at many of the establishments in El Coco, and Simbiosis was our favorite. While the food is very delicious and the portions are generous, the smiles, welcoming vibe and kindness of the staff is unparalleled. If I lived here I would visit daily for my dose of beautiful energy and tasty eats! ¡Pura vida!

Amazing food and the best coffee around! We drive from Potrero to get our Coffee here. They have non-dairy milk, vegan and vegetarian options. Highly recommend. Very nice staff!

Excelente sitio para disfrutar un café o cappuccino o cualquier antojo. Te lo recomiendo. También podes disfrutar derivados del cacao. Los precios aceptables bien ubicado ya que está rodeado de supermercados y restaurantes, lo encontrarás casi entrando a Playas del coco, a la izquierda o a la derecha si vas se salida, a cinco minutos de la playa.
