La Caveja

Visited twice, once for take-out and once eating in. The service was excellent, our waitress was amazing, and the food was incredible! Even the take-out food was great! I especially love their spaghetti pomodoro and the atmosphere. We'll be coming back for sure!

A great Italian place. The 4 cheese pizza was so good and tasty. The pizza sauce was a great base and full of flavor. The large chunks of cheese made every bite mouth watering. I ordered a regular Margarita afterwards and it was as tasty more tones of basil. The service was excellent. The place has a classy diner experience

Truly authentic Italian, thin crust pizza. Super fast service, the fastest pizza I've ever been served. Obviously using a wood fired pizza oven. Add a Peroni to make the experience truly Italian.

Had a great dinner here! Got the salmon vodka rigatoni and it was to die for. Portion sizes were good, not too small. Staff was very friendly.

Great pizza! Thin crust and lightweight. We split 2 larges and a medium between 4 of us and it was just enough.

Visited this restaurant fort the first time and we were very impressed with the quality of the food. As the reviews would suggest. They make excellent thin crust pizzas. My wife had gluten free carbonara pasta and it was fantastic. YES they have GLUTEN FREE pasta !

Great Italian restaurant, friendly staff. Went two nights in a row.

Best pizza, lots of yummy garlic, fresh cheese and mushrooms. Nicest owner. She let us use her wifi when we got locked out of our apt. The staff is so friendly. The lava cake is to die for.

Ordered pizza and gluten-free penne pasta to go. Excellent for picky kids.

Ordered a glass of vino whilst I presumed i would be waiting… however the pizza was ready in minutes and absolutely mouthwatering, I ended up nibbling on pizza whilst finishing my wine! Great service and lovely staff. I wanted to practice my Spanish and the waitress spoke with me in Spanish and helped me with my grammar too! Great place, will come again if I’m back in the area! This ultra thin crust was super tasty and crisp and not to heavy on my stomach, the medium pizza is the perfect size for one person and is loaded with cheese and the toppings of your choice. I would definitely recommend this place for any pizza lover looking for great tasting food.

We ordered the Suprema pizza, grande size. Excellent pizza, the toppings were flavourful, the thin crust was very good, and the service was excellent. Quaint, charming location, fast courteous service….. we consider this one of the best pizzas we have tried. We are hard to impress but this place delivered 100 percent.

The food was delicious! Our caprese salad was fresh, the pizza was amazing (I don’t even usually enjoy much pizza), and the staff were very friendly. We even went back the next night to try some other dishes. I would recommend trying it if you’re in the area!

My husband lived in Italy and is always on the hunt for authentic tastes from Italy. Who knew we would find it in a small little village in Costa Rica?? The Italian owner we spoke to was lovely. The food when excellent! We had a salad which is a size to feed at least 3 people, a large Italian pizza, pasta with tomato and eggplant and all was amazingly authentic and tasted just like we remembered! Tiramisu was light tasting and a nice portion size. Bathroom was extremely clean. Hubby had his favourite Italian beer.
This restaurant was full and now we know why! Can even do pick up if you want to take it back to your hotel!

Run don't walk!! We stayed across the street at cocomarindo condos and visited here on our last night. We had a pepperoni pizza and then the ham, bacon, cheese and mushroom pizza. It is a thin crust pizza and they were DELICIOUS! absolutely loved it. Also the staff was extremely kind and the service was FAST! What a perfect way to end our vacation.

This place was great! Servers were very friendly and quick. Parking in front. A medium is enough for 2 people (or enough just for me and a few leftover slices for tomorrow 😉).

Authentic italian food. I visited the pace a couple of times, I ate Diavola, 4 cheese and Napoli pizzas. All were very good.

As a native and resident of Costa Rica, La Caveja is my favourite pizza place in the country. Every time I'm nearby I drop for at least one meal. Fantastic ingredient combinations, great service and a lot of bang for your buck.

I had a very pleasant experience at La Caveja, I was welcomed by a modest but nice decor and a very good pizza smell coming from the other guest's orders. I ordered a pizza, and I was very happy with my choice, perfectly cooked thin crust and nice ingredients. My girlfriend ordered seafood pasta, acording to her the taste was very good and it was a very generous portion. Overall I had a great time at La Caveja.

Had dinner here twice during my visit to Coco. Food was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. Attentive staff that clearly like what they do. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a great dinner experience in Costa Rica.
