Las Palomas Villas- Cocles, Costa Rica

Very well-maintained property! Everything was clean and in working order. Great location in Cocles close to restaurants, beaches, and groceries. We loved hanging out on the villa's large porch in the cozy hammocks and listening to the animals in the rain forest. The owners and Anna at the front desk were accommodating and helpful in every way. Anna booked local transportation and gave us recommendations on where to eat and what excursions were available in the area. We had an excellent experience and would highly recommend Las Palomas Villas!

Great place and an excellent service, the cabins are surrounded by nature and really intime ; we stay on the Azulada house witch has and open space and two closed rooms, stayn on an open space in the jungle is a unique experience.

My wife and I had an amazing experience at Las Palomas. Aaron had everything set up for us and ready to go once we landed. Had a car scheduled to pick us up and drop us off at the airport. We rented a quad that he had ready for us when we arrived at the villa. He was extremely knowledgeable on where to eat, what to do, and where to shop!

The villa was amazing!!!! Completely open living area and nice bedrooms and bathrooms. We got a little to burnt at the beaches so the last day we spent the day in their pool once the sun was past the trees. The whole experience was perfect. It is so spacious we never saw another guest the whole time we stayed.

Their staff was friendly with anything we needed. They cleaned the villa just about everyday and made sure we had plenty of towels for the beach and pool! If we ever make it back to Costa Rica I will be giving them a call!

A total jungle immersed experience minutes from great beaches, restaurants, and activities. The best of the Caribe Sur Costa Rican coast. The four cottages our families rented exceeded expectations - pool towels, luxury bathrooms, a/c in bedrooms, hammocks, and surrounded by spectacular wildlife. We hope to return soon.

Our stay at Las Palomas was beautiful. Anna helped us with transportation during our trip which was great.

Awesome place with great location! The villa accommodations were great, we loved all the space and privacy. The pool was perfect for an evening swim. Listening to the howler monkeys was probably our favorite. We saw and heard so much wildlife on property and in the surrounding area. The staff was very kind and helpful, they even helped us get a cake for our daughter’s birthday. We will definitely be back! Pura Vida.

Visited Las Palomas for two weeks and had a wonderful experience. Ana, Karen and FoFo were very accommodating. We had a family BBQ and they even made sure the grill was ready to go. The street from the main road to the Villas is quite rough and bumpy. Very close to the animal rescue center as well as restaurants. The beach is close by, just down the hill and across the main road. We hope to return in the future.

This place is amazing! Nestled in lush vegetation you see Sloths, Agouti's, Armadillos, Toucans, Green Macaws, and you hear all the howler monkeys. The pool is perfect for the late afternoon cool off after a day of activities. Rooms have safes, full size refrigerators, water filter system, coffee pot, pans, dishes, utensils, and small cutting boards. We rented two of the villas and brough dishes and a couple of chairs to the other one to have meals all at one location together. Plenty of parking for guests. Staff are amazing!!! Our cleaning crew (Perla and Karen) did an excellent job daily for us and replaced towels whenever we requested or left on the floor. We try to use them at least twice to reserve water. Maintenance (Fofo) was helpful whenever we needed. Ana and Peter in the office were excellent and speak English which helped with the non-speaking Spanish in our group. They gave recommendations and were very accommodating with our small requests. We booked through Julie, and she was immensely helpful with gathering information for me due to my gluten free diet. She went out of her way to the store and sent me pictures of the gluten free items available. Shockingly, there is a lot of flour, pasta etc. available at the store less than 5 min drive. We hope to return and stay here again. Thank you, Las Palomas, for making our group stay unforgettable.

Beautiful villas surrounded by the lush Caribbean jungle. The pool is amazing. It's a fantastic property for large groups and retreats!

Amazing place to stay in Puerto Viejo area. Maya was very helpful and a great host. We would highly recommend you staying here. The pool is great and the security guard is very friendly and attentative

5min from the beach. The villages are really nice. Open spaces, full kitchen with nice space. Easy going employees, always willing to help you.

Fuimos toda la familia y la pasamos increíble durante tres noches y cuatro días. Las villas familiares muy cómodas con todo lo necesario, acogedora, muy limpias y ordenadas, especial para ir en grupos. Se encuentran rodeadas de Naturaleza donde vimos muchísimos animales como perezosos, kinkajus, armadillos, ranas de ojos rojos, monos congos, guaridas, etc. ¡Fantástico! Un sitio especial con una piscina muy sabrosa. La atención de Ana excelente desde el principio brindando la información necesaria y pendiente de que estuviéramos muy bien. ¡Muy recomendado!

Ma conjointe et moi y avons séjourné une semaine avec notre fils de 9 ans. C'est un endroit paradisiaque ! La maison est d'une propreté irréprochable et est très bien équipée. La végétation est luxuriante, ce qui nous offre une belle intimité. Il y a présence d'animaux en tout temps ( singes, paresseux, toucans). Tout est à proximité ( restaurants, épicerie, plage, Jaguar Rescue Center ) Anna est une hôte très sympathique et bienveillante. Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer les propriétaires qui sont très fiers de leur propriété et avec raison. Nous y retournerons assurément !

Superbe endroit, niché dans la nature. Chaque villa a son intimité. Les animaux font partie intégrante de l'ambiance.

Íbamos por 5 noches y al final se convirtieron en 11, la atención de Ana, Zeidy, Karen y todo el personal fue excelente, las Villas están preparadas como para sentirse en casa. Gracias a todo el equipo por hacer de nuestra estadía fuera tan positivas y con ganas de regresar pronto.

Quedamos muy complacidos, las tres familias que estuvimos hospedados. Un lugar muy tranquilo y buen servicio.

Maravillosa villa, con excelentes instalaciones, muy bien cuidadas. La sensación de sentirse dentro de la selva al escuchar a todos los animales alrededor, es insuperable. Las personas que reciben y atienden son muy atentas y serviciales. LO RECOMIENDO.
