Mirador Pita

Nice beach, been here twice, were surprised that people swam near the shore. When we arrived once again and went deeper, a local man told us that a river flows nearby, from which crocodiles swim to this beach and it is dangerous to swim. Be careful.

We were on our way from San Jose to look for a more secluded beach. Planned to drive over an hour more. Stopped to check it out and absolutely loved it.
Saw a flock of red macaws several times and probably 1000 hermit crabs at the tree line. All locals here and no
one trying to sell you anything, although I did want a snow cone😊.
I would take water shoes if I went back. The sand is very rough. If you head south a little bit further you can drive your car down to the beach.
The restaurant was good and a great place to escape the rain and sit and look at the ocean.
Don't ask for fish tacos that are not on the menu unless you want a flauta.

Una playa hermosa y tranquila donde ver un precioso atardecer. Hay cerca una fuente de agua natural del monte muy rica y viva. Yo bebí bastante y me sentó maravilloso.

Lugar tranquilo, seguro y limpio. Ideal para parar y ver la playa. Lugar de comida cerca.

Muy limpia la playa, con muy pocas personas, el mar no es muy recomendado para nadar pero si hay mucha paz y tranquilidad. No pueden entrar vehículos muy grandes por que hay que pasar por un puente angosto.

Un lugar muy lindo, pero la ubicación esta mal marcada, la entrada no aparece en mapas, esta en medio de unas casas unos 400 mtrs antes del punto marcado en mapas
