Restaurante La Finca Sarchí

Good place to grab a bite to eat. The restaurant is clean and the open air feel is wonderfully. The groungs are well kept and the food is good. I had pinto and eggs.

Our tour brought us here with a quick stop at the souvenir shop up the hill right before lunch. The views from the restaurant were amazing. I think we saw probably 15 different species of birds during lunch which was excellent in and of itself. Good food and great atmosphere--definitepy a worthwhile stop.

Delicious meal, friendly service, great value. We had the “Sarchi saddlebag” and tortilla (which was like a Mexican quesadilla), both pictured. Everything was fresh and tasty, and we loved the salad, which included goodies like corn and hearts of palm! Highly recommend!

Wow! Food was soooo good. We arrived at closing time but they still were very kind to us and prepared wonderful food. The steak was huge! This is a must do in Sarchi. We Iwill be back!!

Maybe we just ordered the right things, but we love this place. Our buddy who lives in the area frequently eats here and I’m glad he took us. Kist members of our group ordered steaks, I believe three different cuts and they were all fantastic! My daughter got the chicken soup, and it was very fresh and tasty. Lastly, my son got the grilled shrimp and we ended up ordering a second one to take with us home it was so good.

Our driver was born and raised in Sarchi, so he took us there on the way of our long drive. Excellent food and service. Got in early enough (around noon) on Sunday, but it got quickly crowded with what I think are domestic visitors, which I thought was a good sign, too. Four of us managed to run US$100 lunch...more expensive than I thought, but perhaps fair price for the quality and service considering the tourism of the town known for its crafts. Won't hesitate to visit again!

We flew into San Jose then drove to Sarchi. We walked in and the owners were very gracious. They seated us and accommodated our group and waited hands and knees the entire time. Two of us ordered the Typical chicken dish with red sauce and it was amazing. I dropped my fork and before I could ask the waiter brought me another. They also sell fresh honey we grabbed a bottle to use for the remainder of our trip. Would definitely come back, thank you!

Dining gem down a steep driveway and away from the bustle of Sarchi. Truly enjoyed our late lunch of chicken Costa Rican style and some cold beer.

Very good food, nice service! The restaurant is also nicely located, with the forest in the back. We all enjoyed our experience :)
