A hidden jewel of a local restaurant located in the mountainous area of San Rafael. The food is delicious and authentic. The service is great. It has a museum with a collection of various historical technologies that is free to see with a meal.

Very good restaurant they have a museum that shows about the old Costa Rica stuff The food and drinks are very good specially those Chiliguaro shots and the service very efficient.

I was beyond impressed by the sheer amount of antique technologies that this restaurant has in its decoration/museum.

Experience a piece of Costa Rica History. Every piece, from the food to the decoration evokes a melancholic past. People born in the 60s smile remembering, while younger visitors get amazed by an unknown passed.
Food is good. Price is average. The museum is great. With a space for all ages, including a playground for kids.
I liked the food a lot. Good quality at a fair price. Just bring a good sweater if you're visiting at night. It's very cold!

Friendly staff, great service, good food at reasonable prices, a play area and playground for kids, spectacular setting. I can't think of a better setting to enjoy good food with the family. As if that were not enough, they also have a museum with all sorts of artefacts from the late 1800s to early 1900s.

beautiful place to visit with family and friends, prices are OK, view is nice, there is a little museum inside with antiques things like radios, cameras, record players, jukeboxes, and other cool things. service can be a little slow but in this case no matter too much because you can see amazing stuff while waiting :)

Excelent place! Kind of like a merge between a restaurant and museum.
Girls, you've got to check out the bathroom. Guys, just stay outside and wait for the signal... you'll know.
Kids: there is a nice playground with trampoline, seasaw, canopee, slides. Notice that even though it must be obvious, the responsability for the well being of your kids, is, has been, and will always be of his parents.

Food: you'll love everything.

Great typical Costa Rican food. It was very busy today, but service was outstanding. And you can't beat the views.
