Wow, just wow. You can’t help but be in a state of awe upon arriving to the property. After the initial jaw-dropping has concluded, it’s hard to leave for the day into town. The property feels like a tranquil oasis that truly recharges the body and mind. It’s in the little details like the silky soft bed sheets, the natural stone decor and bathroom, and the list of amazing amenities available. I was delighted to see that there was even a tattoo artist on the list of services available. How cool! The location was exceptional, and it was easy to get to a great number of the town’s best eats.

Our stay at Thea Retreat was amazing. So amazing in fact that we cancelled our second place and decided to stay at Thea for the reminder of our trip. Don't let the drive up discourage you because once there, it's truly a quiet paradise that awaits you - away from the noise, dust and hustling of the very busy Santa Teresa main street. Rooms are big, very comfortable, designed with care and with natural materials - it is very soothing and calming. The infinity pool is refreshing, overlooking the ocean and surrounded by nature - we spent a great amount of time there looking at the birds and the sunset! On top of all that, Adi, the owner is wonderful. She can personalizes your stay to your liking. 5 stars! Merci pour tout Adi!

Great experience!
Every inquiry was immediately taken care of by the concierge and were even allowed to do a late check out at 4pm which made our last day in Santa Teresa so much more relaxed.
The whole staff working around (landscaping, house keeping, maintenance, concierge) is really friendly.
Make sure you rent an ATV or AT LEAST a 4x4 vehicle to get up there, it is in the middle of the jungle basically but only a 8min ride away from downtown Santa Teresa.

What a transformational experience! I came to THEA by some divine intervention with no expectations at all. The moment I arrived to CR until I departed the experience was magical. Divine Shakti, Adi, held me in her lap like a nourishing mother, sister. The property is beyond healing and magical. Every corner is so beautiful. Everything is so thoughtful and carefully designed for a unique experience indeed. The detox juices are so well balanced and so much love put in them. The food, before and after the detox, beyond magical. The activities, Yoga, and the treatments are so well incorporated. Every person I had healing with is so connected and so loving. I left THEA healed from so many lifetimes, at the DNA level. A true unique experience indeed. I cannot wait to go back. MAGICAL is the word for THEA.

I recently finished my 7 days juice cleanse retreat at Thea with Adi and it truly was Life Changing.
Adi is the facilitator, host and owner of this magical place.
She is a very special human who will personally assist you through the process of getting rid of whatever does not serve you and your purpose anymore.
She integrated the juice fast with some beautiful practices such as morning meditations, yoga, massages, reiki, vegan cooking classes, aloe vera body wraps all performed by professionals and amazing people. The place is so gorgeous and peaceful, right in the jungle of Santa Teresa above beach level with ocean breathtaking views.
I've attached some photos below, even though in person it's way way better.
This was not only a body cleanse but a whole rebirth especially after this though stressful time, I was really in need of an experience like this.
Gracias Adi for everything!

If you are looking for a life changing experience I highly recommend this place. Adi is full of magic and light and has so much to give . The place is by far one of the most beautiful relaxing boutique hotels I’ve ever seen. Being on a cleanse is something you can prepare yourself to, & everything about ‘Thea’ embraces this experience. The treatments in addition to the juice cleanse are out of this world and open your mind to a whole new world of healing & zen. Take the people you love and do yourself a huge favor and go there!!!!

Words can not describe what I experienced during the stay at THEA Retreats in Santa Teresa. Adi, the host, is an extremely warm-hearted, understanding and empathetic person and I am incredibly grateful that I met her. Healing and serving me during this week wasn't just a job for her, she really wanted to make my retreat a life changing experience. She is very passionate about nutrition, reiki and healing in general and whenever I had a question, needed something or even felt emotionally or physically bad, she was there for me.
Next to Adi, the place is magic, too. The pool has an ocean view and so does the yoga deck. Everything is very clean and equipped with love for the detail.
All the treatments as well as the daily kundalini yoga classes with Olivia Fern, were also outstanding.
I definitely would recommend this retreat to anyone who needs to reset mind, body and soul.

Oh my goodness, where to begin with the ridiculous magic of Thea retreats and Adi?! We planned to stay and juice cleanse for three days maximum, and we ended up extending 10 days! Everything about the property is pristine, beautiful, light, and airy. Being up in the mountains amidst a beautiful casita that is modernly designed and elegant in every way. We had plenty of outdoor and indoor space, the pool was divine, and the shala and the sauna were absolute luxe. Everyday we were there, we spoke about how we didn't want to leave. The juice cleanse that Adi created and provided was beyond words. Everyday, I would wake up to a fridge full of juices. I arrived with a skin condition and within 2 days, it completely cleared. This is after having taken over-the-counter medication for 3 weeks. The juices that Adi provides are nothing short of medicinal rejuvenation for the entire body. I extended my cleanse from 3 days to 7 days, and everyone commented how much I was glowing after. I will be returning for certain to Thea retreats!

Amazing place. The calm and view are perfect to enjoy after the beach. Gabriel, our concierge, was at our full disposal and was very helpful.

I was warmly welcomed on this special place! The accommodation is wonderful and supported the stay in a perfect way. I’d a detox and I never had a moment where I felt hungry or not convertibly with this kind of smoothies, and teas. At the last day, I’d an ideal start to eat again and also the interesting cooking class gave me a good input how I’d continue at home.
My needs where observed in any kind, in combination with all treatments the are supported my personal prozess very well.
The assistance from everybody was great and done with heartfelt effort!

I spent three amazing nights at Thea with Adi, which literally changed my life in many ways. I am a mama of three here in Costa Rica and hadn’t left alone for over six years. What a gift to be nourished and held by Adi for those four days. She created a perfect schedule and menu for me that gave me an all encompassing healing and nourishing experience.

My room was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, incredible views, air conditioning, beautiful soaps shampoos and conditioners, a welcome gift, a small refrigerator for your juices and drinking water available in the room. I did a juice fast for one full day and the other three days had juices until 2:00. For the afternoon Adi created delicious salads and soups for lunch and dinner. Every flavor and texture carefully thought out and deeply nourishing and energizing.

The entire land and buildings are stunning, with a calm and powerful grounding energy. The yoga deck has a great breeze, views and super serene feel. The healing room and sauna are absolutely perfect, and close to your room.

All of the healers and bodyworkers that work with Adi are super professional and the best in their field. I took two Kundalini yoga classes with Fern Olivia that was a full body spiritual experience with great music and deep breathing. I also took two beautiful yoga classes with Lupe with amazing assists and deep core and stretching. Reiki with Adi was some of the most profound healing work I have ever received. Words will never do her work justice, you must come to experience. The trilotherapy and energy wash with Noa allowed me to connect all of the healing work together. Her knowledge and presence is beyond powerful and healing. Biancas knowledge on sex and relationships is super professional, on point, playful weaving cutting edge wisdom and knowledge.
Overall my experience was indeed life changing, a gift for my soul, and will forever be grateful to know and work with Adi.

Absolutely magical and life changing in every aspect. This was my first juice cleanse, I had been having dehydration issues and was looking for something to do from home but nearby. Thea was just down the street from me! Adi is an absolutely magical being, a mixture of fairy and elf. I was just going over the juices and ingredients and wow, every juice is made with lots of love, high quality organic ingredients and superfoods and none are exactly the same! The entire cleanse was amazing, the yoga, sauna, and treatments were all extremely beneficial physically, emotionally, mentally. This is the only juice cleanse you need to do in your life!!!

One of the most amazing places I've been. Definitely the best in the area. A mesmerizing experience with a breathtaking view that you can't get used to even after a week. The villas are very speciuos and designed at a very high level with lots of attention to all small details which makes it stylish and indulging at the same time.
The cleansing process is very professional and includes a series of quality treatments accompanied by the hosts.
Excellent service system which provides all your needs 24/7 , although you don't need much out there, just to lie down at one of the perfect spots and tranquil.. PURA VIDA!

This place feels like heaven. It’s so beautiful and made with love, the owners, concierges and managers are all incredible friendly and really want to make your stay perfect, and for us it definitely was! 😍 thanks for everything Thea! We will be back for sure :)

Wow, what an experience. This place is very special, on the one hand isolated for a true and meaningful experience but still close the to the center if that is what you are looking for. Anyway, this place is meant for a meaningful time with yourself or with your loved ones. Be prepared to be well fed with raw food, bath in a perfect pool and have a perfect view from the top of the mountain to the ocean... get there without overthinking.
