Soda La Puesta de Sol

My large family rented 7 homes at a wonderful nearby property, Villas Del Rey, and we walked over for breakfast several mornings. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. My kids enjoyed the pinto and sandwiches. My siblings and parents loved the ceviche.

We stopped on our way back to the airport, and what a perfect last meal here in Costa Rica. We got the nachos and chicken rice (traditional Costa Rican meal) and it was amazing! If we weren’t so full we would have tried the smoothies, the fruit looked so fresh!

By far the best single dish i had in costa rica. I got a Casado con Pollo. Everything on the plate was amazing and the environment was amazing. They were not stingy with a single ingredient or the seasoning. Everything was cooked to perfection (especially the chicken! some of the best i’ve ever had). It had a variety of things on the plate that would allow each bite to be different. They also had different salsas if you asked and they were delicious too. The owner also gave us a complimentary little cup of flan after that was delicious, amazing personal touch on top.

I don’t know how to recommend this place more, I would give this place 6 stars if I could, the casado was that good. Please do yourself a favor and stop here!

Breakfast was great. Server was a wonderful lady that is very concerned that tourists are careful not to be taken advantage of. Loooove her!

The food is good, the nachos are huge! The fish 🐟 was good! Small place but follow all the protocols!
The portions are big and it is cheap!

La comida es deliciosa. Los precios muy buenos. Un café excelente. Y los camarones con arroz de morir.

Exelente lugar para comer rico buenos precios y agradable ambiente yo venía de punta leona y pase muy rico y de paso echas gas.

Excelente precios, cantidad y sabor, me comi un arroz con camarones, estaba delicioso.

Para mi,de los mejores restaurantes en la ruta Orotina Jaco.

A ojos cerrados recomiendo este lugar, si bien el restaurante en si mismo no es muy vistoso la comida es deliciosa y las porciones son grandes. El servicio es un poco apresurado pero se debe a la gran cantidad de personas que llegan ahí.
