You have to stop here. The food is so good and the seafood is so fresh, it’s easily the best place you can eat in the area. We ordered the papaya and pineapple smoothies, garlic shrimp and the fish and shrimp ceviche. Everything was top notch!

Service was friendly, helpful, and the staff speak perfect English if you need to ask any questions about the dishes or explain dietary restrictions.

This is hands down the best food in Costa Rica. The cevichi is amazing. Everything they prepare is made with love and you can feel the passion for what they do in every bite. No matter what you get here it will be five 🌟.

Stopped here on the way to Uvita - some AMAZING fresh seafood. They prepare fresh caught fish literally steps away from the restaurant. If you’re traveling through, please do yourself a favor and try the whole red snapper, and ceviche :)

Good spot for a quick breakfast - they open at 7 am every day (confirmed this with the restaurant 2 days ago since the Google maps listing stated 11 am opening and we were having breakfast there at 8).

A few kilometers south of Tarcoles the interior landscape gives way to ocean views, breaking waves and hints of stunning beaches. No less impressive is this hidden gem of a seafood restaurant, Marisqueria El Coral. This is a small family run place with a handful of open air tables that consistently prepares delicious ceviches, incredible camarones in garlic and the crown jewel, when available, Langosta. Add crispy potatoes and perfectly sauteed vegetables paired with cold cerveza – it makes this humble marisqueria stand out from the other nearby establishments. This is our favorite stopover when traveling from the Southern Pacific area to San Jose and back.

Good food, great people! Fish fingers are wonderful and they make a whole fried snapper that is so delicious!
