Soda Pilo´s

That was the best casado I've had (yet). Although I've "only" had it about 8 times. Large portions and a good price, too. The red beans had great flavor, and the fried cheese - delish. My son had pork, and I had fish. We were both extremely satisfied.

Friendly and great food. If desired, ask for a vegetarian option (rice, beans, eggs, plantain, vegetables, avocado, creme fraiche). The papaya smoothie is huge and amazing!

Great little soda for comida typica. We had breakfast of Gallo pinto with huevos Fritos. Basically the same dish as at other sodas but this was one of our favs during our trip. All the sodas do it a little different. Pilos does a great spicy chilera which is basically pickled veg as a side garnish. Also loved the fried queso. Cute little tables for Al fresco dining and people watching on the local street!

Small underrated eatery with freshly cooked delicious meals from the owners who were very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Great cup of coffee as well!
