Cheaper prices than anywhere we've seen in the area, great variety, considering the location and pretty good quality.
Everything is arranged nicely and neatly. Service is fast and polite.
We never expected to find Cape gooseberries and wild raspberries here; we did.
I was particularly impressed with the quality of the produce - beets, several types of squashes, tubers, and even cauliflower and broccoli!

I went by early one morning for coffee (we were out, they were the only store open). We never shopped there before being new to the area. The owner was out front washing the shopping carts and baskets. I asked if they were open and he actually smiled. Si, come in. I went back with my wife and the place was immaculate, the produce was clean and all the staff was friendly. They had plenty of stock.We noticed a guy out back hand washing the vegetables before they bought it into the store. Try it with out hesitation. We will shop no where else in Arenal. If they don't have it (which they usually do) we will wait until we go to Liberia to get it. The BEST shopping experience in Nuevo Arenal.

The best place we found for fresh fruits and vegetables! Good selection of other groceries too, but fruits here were great!

This verduleria has everything! All the local produce as well as imported veggies and fruits like mushrooms and pears. In addition, it also provides a bit of everyday necesities like dry goods and cleaning products. Hearing the gringos wish for imported cheeses, nuts, dried fruit, specialty grains, and happy checken eggs, the owners added these products which are typically only available by driving to big cities. Home delivery brings it to your door. You can also get propane gas tanks delivered and they will switch your empty tank for a full one and connect it for you. I feel we are so lucky to have this store in our area. The owners work very hard to give us these food options and provide delivery. My heartfelt thanks goes out to them ~

I like that they are able to get large sizes of some really good things like cheeses (cheddar, swiss, mozzarella and parmesan). They make weekly excursions to Price Smart.(like Costco in) the US
