Excellent! The pizza was made to order....we watched the chef make our Empanadas fresh into the oven!
The BEST I've had in Costa Rica.
Well worth the visit.

We had Argentinian empanadas of meat, capresse, vegetables and a Milanesa sandwich. Everything was super tasty. The empanadas were freshly made and juicy. We loved the simplicity of the place, with little much is done, really chill place. Without a doubt we would come back

This place is an absolute gem! Good prices, the empanadas are some of the best I’ve had in my life, the juicy shrimp and mozzarella cheese 😍, we also had the capresse, and the 2 vegan ones. The dough is thin and delicious.

We loved this place so much we came back the next day! The empanadas are so very authentically Argentinian and perfectly made. The pizza is made with delicious and fresh ingredients. The homemade juices were also a hit! But the alfajores were on a whole different level of special. They transported me to South America again to the extent that I went back and bought the rest of what they had. Thank you Ana, Christian, and Jose for being so wonderful to my family.

What a beautiful little diner and the food was amazing. My partner is celiac so their gluten free empanadas were something we went specifically for. She had the beef, chicken and the cheese/onion.

I had mine regular in vegetarian and chicken but wanted to try hers to see the difference and they were almost identical in taste and texture. They also have amazing home brewed iced-tea! Great vibes with music and soft lighting. A must visit!

It was an amazing experience. Best empanadas we have had. Atmosphere is so calming and everything is so serene. Owner/chef is very sweet. He has made it very eco friendly. No unnecessary cutlery or plastic used. There is great music playing and the place is surrounded by natural beauty.
It is very economical too.

Hands down, the most delicious and flavorful empanadas ever eaten in my entire life. They are merely perfect, from the crust to the filling. Additionally, they have a great range of options, including vegetarian ones—shoutout to the team for making such delectable food. We tried all of them, yet our favorite one was the Caprese.

This was a great find. I haven’t had Argentinian empanadas in years and these were great. HOT and fresh. We had the beef and they were delicious. Highly recommend. We had a cool visit from howler monkeys while we ate too.

Awesome little place for food. However, Celiacs beware. We went there based on reviews that they had gluten-free empanadas. When ordering, the staff warned us that they were not safe for Celiacs / wheat allergies due to likelihood of cross contamination. My wife ended up not eating anything here to be safe. Kudos for their concern and honesty.

Tasty fresh empanadas - made fresh in traditional owen, staff spoke English. They also have very tasty chocolate dessert.

The empanadas were so good that we went back on the same day for dinner to try the pizza, which was also delicious. The dough is so good you could comfortably eat that on its own and the empanada fillings are equally tasty. Casual dining spot, only a few tables but has a really warm feel.

Some of the tastiest and authentic empanadas we've ever eaten. Great variety and very affordable prices. Incredible atmosphere in a simple beach side jungle setting. The brick oven is everything and compelled us to try a variety of different options. This spot is an absolute must to visit even for takeout.

Food is very tasty and the laid back atmosphere will get you started for a great chilled evening with friends or your partner. I highly recommend the chicken/pollo empanadas!

It’s a popular place and might get busy but there is quite a few places to sit, however you can always ask for take out.

It’s a good thing I don’t live near this place or I would eat empanadas and pizza all the time! Delicious food and a cute little dining area (only 3-4 tables/benches) tucked in off a back road near the beach. Really chill music playing at dinner time too!

Very nice little “restaurant” tucked neatly away from the main drag. This is not the sort of place that you just drive by and decide to check out. Unless you are like us and drive along aimlessly hoping for that special surprise around the corner. And what a surprise it was. This little gem of empanada amazingness did not disappoint. We had three of their meat varieties and one after the other were just as fresh, delicious and piping hot as the one before it.

Highly recommended and bring colones…no credit cards accepted.

This is a must try in Uvita, the empanadas are incredibly delicious, the people are very kind and you can even order for delivery. Do not miss trying this place while in Uvita, I regret why I didn't try earlier.

Very nice little restaurant to stop and get some lunch. The parking is difficult if there is more than one or two vehicles currently there.

The best empanadas I have ever eaten. Baked not fried. So glad I made the effort to find this place. Part of me wishes it was on the main road, but part of me is glad it's out of the way.
