Restaurante 1910

A real diamond! The service, food, ambiance, and music were perfect. Beautiful setting in an old stone looking house with wonderful gardens and gorgeous sitting areas. Best overall restaurant experience on our 2 week trip. This place is not a tourist trap, it's a charming, elegant, warm restaurant with extra tasty food (try the soup trio). It's not cheap, but it's very affordable for this level of overall experience. Highly recommend it!

Delicious homemade costa-rician food in a beautiful and lovely ambience. We were here twice and felt very comfortable. Our absolute recommendation is the dishes with homemade tasteful pesto! On the weekend pizzas will be served.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. This restaurant is the perfect stop on the way to or from irazu volcano. It has a beautiful view and a lovely garden. The people were friendly and most importantly the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was very clean too!

This place... is a great stop to eat.
The burger 1910 is in my top 5 (maybe even top 3).
The atmosphere is like being inside an old costa rican fancy home.
Casados are great, chicharrones are very good. Have not had meat cuts here.

Good coffee, they don't have anything other than cow dairy.. so bring your own?.

The staff is attentive and responssive.

I am gluten free and my friend and co-traveler vegetarian, we were a wee bit concerned about finding good food to eat and we found it! Lovely comfortable surroundings and both had meals that were as delicious as we would get back in the US, but had local feel! We will be back tomorrow for lunch

A rustic, charming ambiance combined with good food options, whether you want lunch or a cup of afternoon coffee. Prices are medium to medium-high. The location and the view are very nice

Excellent restaurant. Service was fast, plates were huge, typical and delicious. Perfect stop after a morning hike on Irazu volcano. Do not hesitate to taste the casado (you can ask the vegetarian version with delicioua grilled tofu)

I love everything in the menu, but the lomito montaña with fresh mushrooms mmmm and the salmon 1910 is delicious as well!!! Great breakfasts too and super good prices!!!!
