We had a fantastic time with Aaron and JC on our zip lining day. They shared great local information and were so friendly and professional. It was my first time zip lining and I was really excited but scared. They were so careful with the equipment and explained everything. It was amazing to sail through the jungle! Would highly recommend!

The Cahuita snorkeling and hiking tour was fantastic. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable!

Our ride from Monteverde to Manual Antonio was wonderful with Juan Andres. He was both an expert driver, while also being an amazing traveling guide. Juan Andres is a true asset to Caribe Tours!

My adult family of 5 booked a jungle night tour. Our licensed guide Adrian shared so much knowledge about Costa Rica, history, culture, food, animals, plant life…he was so great! And then to get nighttime access to Manzanillo was very special. The walk was super interesting to go from the beach with caymans to deep jungle with towering tree canopies. We saw a lot of wildlife including some unusual things like a mouse opossum.

Our tour was rained out the first night (total downpour as we arrived at Manzanillo) but Caribe made it no problem to reschedule to the following evening. A benefit for us really as we had another car ride to talk about Costa Rica with Adrian.

A tip for the night tour: wear boots or shoes and pants that can fit tightly around your ankles to keep the leaf cutter soldier ants out. They like to use the human paths for their highways.

This was our first trip to Costa Rica, they helped with all of our transportation needs, both domestic flights and shuttles from San Jose to La Fortuna, from La Fortuna to Puerto Viejo, from Limon back to San Jose. Everyone was courteous, kind and punctual and responded quickly with any concerns or questions I had.

In La Fortuna we did ATV and Hanging Bridges Tour; also booked thru Caribefuntours, we had a WONDERFUL time!

Samantha was our tour guide for the Hanging Bridges, she is a very knowledgeable, kind, and entertaining. Her passion for what she do and Costa Rica shows, you will not be disappointed!

I found Caribe tours through Hotel Banana Azul as we were looking for places to stay. We didn’t stay at Hotel Banana, but we used Caribe Fun Tours for our entire trip. All of their services were wonderful and a good price for what you get. You request the tour before payment and they send a secure link to pay when it is confirmed. The customer service for purchase was good and they were very kind. The Irazu day trip from San Jose was a lot of fun, very informative, and included a beautiful lunch spot. We used their taxi and bus ticket service to get from San Jose to Puerto Viejo. It was worth the ease for me to not have to worry about buying the right bus ticket and getting there on time. We also did water rafting on the Pacuare River with transit from Puerto Viejo to San Jose. Our guide was truly amazing and we had such a good time. Overall, everyone of our guides was very good, very knowledgeable and seemed to really enjoy their work. I would definitely book through them again.

We took a full day tour to Cahuita, a bri bri village and waterfall. Every moment was unforgettable and let me tell you there was a lot to it. Our tour guide was very patient and accommodating with the group. He was also extremely knowledgeable and generous with sharing his experience and information. The fellows at the info desk were also excellent at helping us. These tours were an important part of our visit.
For anyone considering taking these tours, you really need to understand what it entails to make sure you have the right footwear, etc.

We used Caribe to book transportation from San Jose to Puerto Viejo and also to book an Indigenous People tour in Puerto Viejo. Everything was well coordinated. Our drivers to and from San Jose were great, timely and very friendly. Luis, from Caribe Tours was very responsive to all of my many questions and sent us friendly reminders the day before our activities which I really appreciated. I strongly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

My wife and I used this company to arrange transfers from hotel to hotel and across border transfer from costa rica to panama (not necessarily tours). Very polite, punctual, and made sure we made it to our destination safely. Will not hesitate to book with this company again. They were a big help in crossing the border. I would have had no idea what I was doing.

Did a trip to Costa Rica and used their services. They were wonderful, they put together a great trip for me. There were several last minute changes but they were very communicative and able to change/fix things easily. Highly recommend, especially if you're planning a solo trip.

We went on the Cahuita and waterfall tour and couldn’t have been more satisfied. Guide Shilo was engaging, personable, patient, and extremely knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. We saw all kinds of wildlife: sloths, monkeys, iguanas, dart frogs, toucans, and numeracy other birds and insects. It was a gorgeous day, so we ended up spending some time at the beach. Highly recommend! It was the highlight of highlights on an amazing trip.

We went through Caribe Fun Tours to plan our first vacation to Costa Rica. Our planner was Ernesto and we couldn’t have been happier with the job he did planning our 12 day travel throughout Costa Rica. We were able to experience the Caribbean Sea side, La Fortuna area and the Pacific coast. They set us up with white water rafting on the Pacuara River which was the time of our life!! We highly recommend do this for any age group! We stayed at Banana Azul Hotel which had the best food and was located right on the beach. Please send me a message if you want to know more but know this, we are very happy with their planning and will use them again for our return!

We had never been to Costa Rica before. Upon booking our trip at Banana Azul, Caribe Fun Tours reached out to help make planning the remainder of our trip easy. They helped us book our drive from San Jose Airport to Puerto Viejo, then book our inter-country flight from Limon to San Jose... all super easy and secure. Once we got there, Alí from CFT made our week even more awesome: Chocolate Tour, Zipline, Jaguar Rescue Center, Beach Massages... etc. He took incredible care to ensure we had everything we needed to make our trip incredible – one day we weren't able to make our scheduled tour, and he helped us plan a different one instead. His commitment to visitors and their "pura vida" experience was so appreciated. Also have to mention Luis, who took us to the Jaguar Rescue Center, then to an easy hike at Punta Uva. He was a great local guide who showed us all his favorite spots. Each morning we chatted with their team in the morning just to say hello; they truly treat you like friends. We did the snorkel tour with Kendall and also did the Kayak tour. both tours were AMAZING.

Easy to book and very simple to cross the border. The guide of Caribe Shuttle were very professional, gave us great local tips, and even took a shortcut on the way back that saved us 45 minutes. Will use again next week for the same trip to Bocas Del Toro

Caribe Fun Tours guide Luis was awesome! Very knowledgable about Cahuita National Park and has a good eye for spotting sloths! The park is so beautiful as you have a combination of jungle and beach. Easy trails and it was almost a game between us to find the animals hidden in the park. The best part of the tour was ending it in a refreshing waterfall!

Excellent service! We set up our shuttles through them and the service was absolutely perfect. Timely, kind, clean vehicles. Absolutely helpful with everything, even just advice about the area. They were wonderful. When we go back, I'll book even more through them.

Second year we've worked with them to travel with our dog. Very responsive, fast, efficient. The drivers have been great, very polite and accommodating. Highly recommended!
