Casa Conley Del Mar

Hotel Casa Conley Del Mar is an excellent place to stay. They have some of the best beds I have slept on in a long time. Scott is amazing owner and loves to interact with guest. He is a huge help and has all the ins and outs around here. A fridge or ice machine is missing but not a big deal as he can provide coolers. A car is needed unless you want to taxi around and Scott knows the good cab drivers. It is an extremely relaxing and secluded place on a hill, that is tucked in the jungle. I love this place and really hope to visit it again. Thank you all!

We enjoyed our stay here. Arriving very late the first night, the owner was gracious to let us in after check-in closing time. And throughout our stay, we received personalized attention, more like a bed and breakfast. The rooms are very clean and brand new. Hot water in the shower was consistent. Internet and cable worked great while we were there. We were asked our choice for breakfast. The location is a little out of downtown, but really not too far. The hotel has a great view of the landscape- a hillside with tropical flowers, monkeys, birds, and ocean in the distance. Nice value for the price.

We stayed 3 nights and couldn't have been happier! It's a great hotel tucked in the jungle and away from all the noise. We got there easily with a 2wd vehicle. It's close to Puerto Viejo and Cahuita national park. The rooms and hotel grounds are very clean and most importantly, it's not buggy (which sometimes can be hard to find in Costa Rica). AC is powerful and water pressure is great. Beds are comfortable and wifi is really good for Costa Rica. Scott, the owner, is friendly and likes to chat. I contacted him directly to book and was able to save on fees that other websites charge. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing place at the middle of the jungle. Room was clean. They don't have fridge in the room. If you don't have a car location is not the best but you can use tuktuk or local busses to get there. The owner of the place Scott was very helpful. Breakfast was also delicious. Front of the hotel is chocolate tour where we also visited.

Great Hotel with the most beautiful views of the bays of Cahuita and Puerto Viejo. Nice pool great hosts, breakfast included with AC, great beds and really clean rooms with really nice bathrooms. Would recommend for anyone visiting who likes nice breezes, great views and a nice property. Plus you don't need a 4 wheel drive to get there.

Very nice and clean hotel, good water pressure, the beds were very comfortable and I cannot tell you about the breathtaking views, you have to see it for yourself. The best part was Scott, the owner, he did everything in his power to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We'll definitely come back as soon as we can!

Amazing hotel back in the jungle. Had all the comforts of home and you get to experience the lush rainforest while being minutes from the beach. It was centrally located with the national park to the north and puerto viejo to the south. The owner is an amazing human. He helped us long after we left his hotel. The breakfast he serves is a feast. One of the best meals we had on our trip! The hotel was very clean and he had a pool to escape the heat. The hotel was very safe and secure (great as we had luggage stolen at other places).

This place was amazing, I admit it seemed pricey but that's all. IT SEEMED PRICEY.
Once you realize that you get really amazing food included for breakfast, television, A/C, and a clean pool and environment you realize it is worth it. The rooms are large and clean, the parking situation is safe and removed, it's far enough back you don't hear traffic much. Then there's the view, it was amazing, forest, and ocean, while you have a reclining chair on the front of your room all to take it in with.
Not only was all of the above great, but there is staff that is around cleaning the area a lot. Making sure there aren't any bugs or snakes encroaching on your stop.
Also when considering the price there's free internet, did I mention that. Essentially you're getting everything for free at this place that many other places either don't have or cost you 10 USD a day to have.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat, because of everything written above, and the owner. He was amazing, engaging, funny, and cared about your experience not only at his establishment but in Costa Rica and he is an ex-pat.
Really highly recommend.

Expensive for the area but very friendly people, seamed like a safe place. They helped us get a room beyond check in hours. The hotel overlooks ocean and woods. I did not use all of what was offered here mainly just stayed the night.

Great Hotel at a great price. It is brand new and very clean.The service was excellent. Breakfast is not to be missed. I highly recommend staying here. The owner was very helpful on planning activities. Great Views also.

My friend Scott took 14+years to build. Mr. Scott Conley and his brother Ken are the owners/operators. Look up Casaconleydelmar on Google. It's right in the middle of a rain forest. Plenty of wild life to view. A very relaxing setting with everything you need. Even has a gym and pool.

There is a good pool

I feel like this place needs to advertise more, staying here as a last resort, wish I would have called here first, would like to suggest they hire a chef , would make this place perfect.

Situado a menos de 10 minutos de Puerto Viejo lo que asegura paz y descanso pero suficiente cerca de la acción y la playa. Sólo la entrada al hotel es una aventura, un camino en excelente estado entre la montaña que lleva al hotel. Desde nuestra habitación del segundo piso podíamos ver el mar y disfrutar de los sonidos de la montaña.
El servicio es excelente y muy personal.
Las habitaciones son amplias, limpias y bien ventiladas. La piscina bajo techo es un lugar de reunión en las tardes sin importar el clima.
Amplio y seguro parqueo cerca de las habitaciones.
A 5 minutos hay restaurantes, supermercados y gasolinera para lo que se necesite.
En general un lugar para volver...

El lugar tiene una vista muy bella, está ubicado entre Cahuita y Puerto Viejo, en medio de una montañita. Puedes ir a caminar, es muy tranquilo, las habitaciones aparte de bonitas está bien cuidadas y limpias. El servicio es bastante eficiente, de hecho tuvimos un problema con la puerta de la habitación y al regresar ya estaba arreglado. Recomendado 100%

Un lugar precioso, aseado, lleno de naturaleza y paz. Muy cerca del centro de puerto viejo.. Las personas muy amables.

Excelente opción si uno ama la naturaleza y la tranquilidad. El hotel está metido en la montaña pero muy cerca de la calle principal y con vista al mar. La habitación hermosa y muy limpia, la atención de Scott es muy cordial. Totalmente recomendado

Muy bonito lugar, buena vista a la playa es muy limpio, el desayuno es muy rico y variado , la atención al cliente es excelente, en fin es buen lugar para visitar en familia o pareja, super recomendado, me lleve gran experiencia de ese lugar.

Hermoso lugar insertado en la selva. Con un anfrition de lujo. Excelentes instalaciones y un ambiente calido y cordial. Me fascino. Y lo califico como Excelente.
