We had 20 People in our Party and we had a great time. The food was delicious, huge portions and the service was awesome. We returned for a dinner of two, and same awesome service with live music. ¡Que Rico!

Tacos presidente the best. Tacos mixtos very good. Thank you Jeremy for the great service and explaining why the chicharon de queso does not have chicharon. Five star to Jeremy. Great time.

La Fonda Azteca is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Costa Rica. Excellent attention, great value for the food quality and nice Mexican ambience. Their Birria dish is our favorite birria. They also have Fondaritas, the classic supersized margarita with a corona beer, and they even include a free taco Al pastor! Thank you La Fonda ❤

This place is for real. I'm from Texas and this is as good as it gets. We had the table made guac and the tinga chicken tostadas. It was all amazing. The churros were the best I've ever had!

I have taken 3 friends here for birthday lunch on different occasions. The food is great - especially tacos al carbon for me - and the margaritas are strong!

Meals at this restaurant are really good (a few years ago we lived in Mexico for a year so we know what the Mexican food tastes like). We stayed at the Hyatt next door and went twice to this restaurant. "Chile relleno" was amazing, so were the "Enchiladas". The staff was attentive and we never waited long for meals.
Highly recommended!

It can get costly but worth it. I recommend one of the big sharing platters with a little bit of everything. The guacamole is huge too! The large margarita comes in an obnoxiously large glass. I highly recommend this place.
