Best meal in the area. Friendly owners, fun, casual neighborhood vibe and the best ceviche and shrimp with garlic I've had in a while. The homemade hot sauce has a kick!

A small and cozy local place, very welcoming. It was clean and the seafood was excellent. We had the churchhill ceviche which was amazing. Also tried the tuna and the seafood platter, both were a great value and very tasty! Great place to visit while here!

Friendly welcoming service and delicious food! I had the whole fried fish served with a salad and rosemary potatoes. Prices are very reasonable as well! Highly recommended.

What a wonderful discovery in Santa Elena Monteverde! An amazing fish restaurant and an amazing staff! Been to Santa Elena for 4 days, went to Manolo’s twice!

By far the best ceviche I ate in my life! You have to come and see it for yourself.
Very affordable prices and amazing staff. Must not leave Monteverde without getting a taste of Manolo’s!

It's more or less a soda/dive bar but they definitely NEED a rear deck to take advantage of amazing views behind the restaurant from the mountains into the valley.

One of the best restaurants we had in monterverde, with very decent price and friendly services, portion is huge too. Much better than the ones we tried in dt, highly recommended it!

Wonderful seafood restaurant in Santa Elena. Huge portions and affordable prices. The fried fish is delicious. It is a cute place with friendly service and ample parking.

We stayed in Monteverde 3 nights and had dinner here 2 of those nights! We honestly cannot say enough about the quality of food and the staff. This was honestly the best ceviche I had ever had and my husband’s red snapper was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh and the sauces were *chefs kiss*. Cesar and Manolo, the owner, we’re so kind and welcoming. Manolo took time to tell us all about what foods and places to try at our next destination, and he really made sure we were taken care of. When we return we will definitely be coming back to Manolo’s.. we highly recommend this place over any other one in Monte Verde. Gracias, Manolo y Cesar!

Don’t miss this during your stay in Monteverde! Intimate, fun atmosphere and delicious food. The ceviche was excellent and the whole fish was a joy to eat. Best mango juice of our trip!

Absolutely delicious fish and very friendly staff. One of the best meals we've had in Costa Rica - simply prepared but very tasty. They have their own homemade hot sauce on the table. Full habanero flavor and heat - by the end of my meal I was almost drinking it on my fries.

Best ceviche ever. We had 2 different ceviche and both were amazing (I don't like the way they are served tho). The octopus was good too. Nice place and the owner is very welcoming.

Ask for hot homemade sauce for extra kick. Be careful it’s extremely hot. Try 1 or 2 drops first.

Amazing restaurant. We had a variety of dishes including the daily special which was local shrimp from the river. I have never seen shrimp with such big claws. Incredible. We had 3 dishes, 4 beers, and dessert for under $60. A great value. Staff was wonderful as well.

We had the salmon, corvina al ajillo and ceviche. The corvina was so garlicky it was amazing. We’ve had ceviche in San Jose, La Fortuna and here in Monteverde: this place has the best ceviche. We bought a large to go so we can have more at our Airbnb. They were also quite patient with my one year old walking about and gave us marshmallows to takeaway. Personally, this is one of the best places to eat in Monteverde, with reasonable prices, and not a tourist trap.

Best Seafood (tempted to say best food period but didnt get to try so many wonderful other dishes on the menu!) in all of Montverde and probably Guanacaste. Least I forget to mention with prices way more reasonable than the other fancy restaurants we tried in town. Must visit and we’ll definitely be back on our next visit. Thanks for what was a simply brilliant meal!!

One of the best restaurants we've tried in Monteverde. I ordered the octopus dish/ pulpo and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We also had ribeye steak which was also tasty and huge. The owner suggested to try to churchill ceviche it is a mixed cevice with pulpo, shrimp and fish, it was very good. The prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent!

This was the best food we have had in Costa Rica. Amazing seafood. Cesar was incredible. It is great value for money with huge portions and homemade sauces. The Pina Colado was served in a pineapple! Highly recommended. Great atmosphere and great music.
