Sueños del Irazú

Stopped here after coming down from Irazu volcano and we were helped right away. Good service bilingual server. Smells great inside and outside they have a great view of nature and a river nearby. Food was great, good prices, and it was a pleasant experience. Give it a try if you are checking out the nearby area.

If you're around the Irazú volcano and you like Costa Rican food, this is a good spot to visit. Service is good, food is prepared fresh, and the place feels quite comfortable. Most food has a deep town flavor, so try anything and you won't likely be disappointed.

Love this quaint old house stile restaurant was impressed in their food presentation as well at its quality and taste. The ambiance was relaxing and if you go in the morning bring a warm jumper. I believe this is the the first restaurant as you come down from the Irazu volcano on the left. The home made soups are great. Just remember in Costa Rica when you order soup is consider your main dish, no need to order anything else

A gem on the way from the cold Irazu. Has a grea view and a rich menu. Both soups were very tasty but a bit too salty for us.

Stopped there for lunch with a friend after Irazú. It was delicious! Alas I have forgotten what we ordered but the pork on mine was super tender and soo tasty

Great traditional local food! Server was very friendly and great to talk with. Spoke fluent English and gave awesome references of trending hot spots in Costa Rica. Highly recommend anyone passing through to stop in for hearty homemade traditional Tico cuisine.

This restaurant has ads along the road to Volcano Irazu and so I was skeptical when my friends wanted to eat here, but I'm very glad I did. By far, their version of olla de carne was the best I've had in Costa Rica and I live in San Jose. It was SOOO delicious! My group of friends enjoyed their food too and it all looked pretty fresh. The ambiance was great and the service was fantastic. They spoke to us in both Spanish and English.

Ask for Andrei! He was awesome serving to us. Has a tortilla and ordered one more because it was so good.. loved the taste and the freshness of everything
