It was a beautiful place with amazing views, we had a gravel ride around the dam, perfect for an easy ride or training, the weather is just perfect but it seems that it rains a lot, so beware.
On our ride we saw a lot of fancy hotels along the road, they look a bit expensive tho, so maybe it's just a good idea for a weekend.

The sight.we were taking a short trip to Boyaca and that was our first stop.We have taken a rest.There was a Military Base so It's safe taking pics.

A Wonderful place to see.. not matter what the weather is like.

Cold or sunny it is a nice place to stop by and enjoy.
Recommendation... do not pull over on the main road... stop and enjoy but be safe.

Embalse del Sisga is located about 45 minutes by car from Bogota. It is a really good place to visit and depending of the season, there is some water sports to do like windsurf, kayak or just simply riding a boat. On the same place is located Refugio del Sisga restaurant for breakfast and lunch with good prices.

Perfect place for make some rides in MTB, and go to the restaurant and taste the "empanadas de trucha" so tasty.
