Ventanas de Tisquizoque

I recommend to anyone who wants do hiking of medium level, with a little muddy and a lot of fun moments in the winter season of Colombia. You can see the beautiful valley and amazing waterfalls.

Bad road to get there, but the place is thruly breathtaking. I've seen many waterfalls, but this one with the cave around, the nature and hanging bridges which really feel like they could collapse became one of my favourite places in Latin America. You don't need much time to visit it though, as it's only one place, around 20 minutes is enough. And it's free. Not many tourists during weekday.

This is absolutely my favorite place. There is a huge waterfall and cave. The entrance is easy, and near the main road. There are some steps to climb down and a couple hanging Bridges that lead up to the cave. Maybe a 10-15 minute walk. The cave is maybe a couple miles from a town called Florian, and you cam actually see the falls from the road.

I came up from Chiquinquirá (3 hr scenic car drive) because the nearest town Florian is quite small, but there is a hostel nearby and some camping sites. The view from inside is stunning.

Awesome natural cave, you can go inside the mountain 🌄 following the river, and walk until the window in wich the river emerges from the mountain to fall three times forming a stair of waterfalls.

De las cascadas más hermosas que he visto, la carretera correcta es por Puente Nacional, Jesús María y Florian. 90% buena la vía muy pocos tramos de barro, charcos y piedras medianas. Si no ha llovido las cascadas pueden ser muy pequeñas

Espectacular! Se debe tener en cuenta el desplazamiento por la carretera que está en arreglos desde Jesús María, se recomienda llevar botas o tenis de caminata con suela que no sea lisa para evitar accidentes, es un lugar muy bonito e imponente, contactar con el guía Yeison de Turismo Eco Florián en el pueblo para una mejor experiencia.

Para llegar a este lugar hay que recorrer bastante en auto, la carretera no es la mejor; pero eso sí, los paisajes son preciosos y las ventanas ni hablar, son hermosas. En esta parada, el trayecto hasta a la cueva no es mucho, es solo bajar unas escaleras atravesar un par de puentes y listo, tienes la mirada dentro de las cascadas. Si te interesa ver las cascadas de frente, tienes que seguir hasta el mirador que también es súper lindo, eso sí aquí si tienes que ir preparado para caminar, sobre todo mentalizado que luego debes subir.

Cuando las visite se supone que era tiempo de lluvia pero no llevaba nada de agua, por otro lado estaba yo solo ennel lugar y eso le dio un toque especial y compensó, fue grandiosa la experiencia aunque no fue como lo había visualizado. Vine desde México a visitarlas, quizás quieren que vuelva algún otro día.

Execelnte vista pero a tener en cuenta ir entre marzo y mayo para encontrar buena agua, ir con un guía que les cuente la historia del lugar . Ojalá arreglen la vía de entrada y salida

Lugar mágico fuimos afortunados de encontrar con agua este emblemático sitio pues hay un problema con la trayectoria de la quebrada se está desviando en un punto y no permite bajar lo suficiente hasta las ventanas
