It is a great blend of local flavors enhanced with new cuisine, the chef is young and handsome chef, with some years of experience in Spain and Peru 🇵🇪!

The food was excellent - premium quality. We went with friends and ordered lomo, tuna, carpaccio, salmon tartar and everything was delicious. We also had some amazing cocktails with lulo and maracuya and were super happy with the friendly service!

Had a late lunch here, we were the only ones. Decor is nice, not necessarily our taste but elegant. Service is courteous, not especially warm hearted, but correct. We had two dishes from the « latest » list and two from the a la carte. All dishes were wonderful, quite strong and creamy in their flavours (probably the winter menu), but very interesting and pleasant. They have a wonderful Rosé wine that they sell as a glass portion, but is is in fact a plane size bottle, very smart. Probably the most expensive meal we’ve had in Colombia.

I wanted to come to zumaia for a while and it was no disappointment. Here is where colombia and Peru meet on a culinary experience. Great atmosphere, Awsome service, And a mouthwatering trip. I started with the steak tartare. Silly,tangy beautiful cut of meat with a wine reduction arugula and a little kick. Then we had Arroz meloso, a kind of risotto style with sweet plantains and topped with fish cracklings to die for. If you are in Cali do not miss this place.

Is this the best restaurant in Cali Colombia? It might be. I am from Manhattan, and I have been eating Thai, Peruvian, Spanish, and Thai food all my life. Chef Bonilla magically blends them all into a perfect fusion. My phone battery ran out or I would have posted pictures of the artful presentations. The ceviche was fresh - with high quality fish. Everything there was high quality. So many places skimp and cut corners. This food is clearly made by an artist. I recommend the special Lomo, a perfectly cooked steak wrapped in a baked bread blanket. I am not usually a cocktail guy, but they make a drink (I cant remember the name) with several ingredients that you have probably never heard of (local liquor and fruit/grain extraction). It is spectacular. I will try to find out the name and update. If you have just one meal in Cali, go to Zumaia (Zu ma ia). This place would shine in the most competitive food environments on earth. Also, the space itself is spectacular. Open and interesting – with good table spacing- great for conversation. Also, the location is in the center of the coolest section of Cali. I love this place.

Absolutely fantastic. This is definitely one the best restaurants in Cali. Every single dish we ordered was outstanding. Great mixture of flavors. Highly recommend the ceviches or the causa as starters although the salmon tartar is another excellent option. For main course definitely go for the Lomo Salteado, the Lomo Zuma or the Risotto, all of them outstanding!!! Highly recommend it and can not wait to come back. The place a great ambience in an exquisitely restored Spanish colonial style house in the old neighborhood of San Antonio.
