Costeño Beach Hostal

AMAZING beach! seriously this beach looks like a dream. The hotel is super beautiful, very nice staff. AMAZING food. If you wanna the full Caribbean paradise experience at its best. This is the place to be!

Location is a little out of the way, but wowww this hostel is stunning!! The views of the sea are gorgeous, and the layout of the hostel is so well thought out. It feels more like a hotel resort! We stayed in a private room, everything was clean and functional. So happy with our stay!

We loved our stayed there ! We book a double private room. We stayed there to be closer to Tayrona park but it was close for maintenance until Nov 3 !
Just so you know there is no hot water for the shower ;) ! The bed are comfy and the view was half and half ocean view since there is palm trees !
Our room was right next to the « bar & restaurant » so 2 nights out of 3 there was loud music we had a hard time sleeping. But we were still very happy to be there ! Staff are super friendly and good help for activities ! Special hands up for Pedro ! 🙌🏻 they recommended Chago for the taxi driver and we absolutely love it ! Transportation was smooth and safe.

An excellent hostel over the beaches near Tayrona that gives you an excellent opportunity to rest, get to know new friends and relax over the beach or near the pool.

To begin, the service of all the personnel is ten of ten, the help of the people at the reception is fast and they help you with all the information that you need, the ladies of the kitchen are very very kind, fast, and they have an excellent hand to give amazing taste to your dishes.

For the cocktails also, the bartenders are always happy and fast with all the commands of restaurants and drinks.

For the social areas, having this pool between the palms and the other plant makes a very fresh area for those who want to swim a while.

The ping pong table is perfect for a while of competition.

The basket of games as cards, chess, frisby, domino and other table games gives to the people a good variety of options for the night and for any time of the day.

And over the beach the chairs and the beds are perfect for tanning and to just relax and to read a book.

The sport of Costeño Beach is also perfect if you want to have a walk for some minutes or to enter to the sea.
The sea is always very strong over there so be careful.

For a person with physical problems it is also going to be a good spot to relax and if they may need a wheelchair it is going to be easy to roll over the place.

What a blast. This place is just like paradise. Spent here 3 nights and had a really cheerful time. Staff was lovely, the facilities were alright but the people made it the experience it was at the end. Can really recommend taking the time and spending some days at this place!

We had an amazing time at Costeño beach. The location is right on the beach and our private was close so meant we awoke to the sounds of the waves ☺ the food was AMAZING. I recommend the rib bone broth for breakfast (so delicious and the meat fell off the bone) and the poke bowls were fresh/nutritious! The sushi also looked amazing. I don’t understand why people don’t rate the food - if you go for these dishes you won’t be disappointed! The pool area was so chill and relaxing. The staff were so fun - special shout-out to the guys who ran the beer pong & dance class - they were so full of energy and laughter! The yoga at 7:30am was free and also very relaxing, thank you ☺ yes this place is a bit more expensive but it’s so worth it if you fancy a unwind but also options of good DJs/music and the beach front hotel vibe.

Hip and happening. Great staff. Also..if you go with kids (18-25 years old)..perfect place. Lots of back packers. Great atmosphere.

one of the best hostels i have stayed so far during 5 months south america. the food, the beach and the people are amazing! marly the amo!!

Great location on the beach. We booked the Casita which is very secluded and right on the beach, superb for couples. Don't expect a quiet sea, pretty wavy which we liked. Get booked up very quickly so good to book in advance.

The food was good overall. Avoid juices as they are a bit watery.

Very secluded so you will rely on the bar and restaurant for food and drinks. 1000 cop to refill a bottle of water (500ml). 7000 cop for a small bottle of water is pricey for Colombia.

Party every couple of nights so a good atmosphere at the bar.

Very friendly staff, some European on a volunteer programme so English is well spoken which can be useful for non Spanish speakers.

Very pretty pool. Ping pong and other games available. Surf classes can be booked.

Very young crowd, many on a backpacking tour.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in.

The food here is amazing, and food and drink is very reasonably priced, unlike in other similar hostels.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, there's a lot to do in terms of surfing, day hikes, activities, the climbing wall and the amazing pool. Beautiful sunsets and views as well. There's also a great party a couple of nights a week.

Social hostel with great activities. You won't get bored even if you are stuck there. Ping pong, frisbee, volleyball and parties! The bed in the big dorm was okay but not the best.

I had a great time at this hostal. Really chill vibe. For those wanting to go to Tayrona they help facilitate groups going from the hostal everyday.

Lovely stay. Real bit of paradise on the beach with lovely staff, pool and incredible food. I've been told they changed the chef earlier this year and you can tell as the food was second to none!

I can't believe I haven't visited this place before. If you are looking for a place to chill, relax, and party at the same time, you got it. I think the rates were fairly priced for accommodation and food. The vibe is excellent and the staff was super friendly. The ladies from the reception did everything possible to accommodate another night for us to stay, even though they were super booked. Totally recommended!

Don’t know what else to say that hasn’t been said. A great and unique hostel experience. Beautiful people, great food and parties. The swimming pool is a highlight. Don’t come here if you want to rest or have to wake up early though

The service was excellent. From the first moment the whole team was smiling and welcoming. The food is excellent, the room I stayed in was excellent and the place is very clean.

I loved the vibe of the place, everyone just chilling, very good food and drinks, plenty variety. Beds from 40.000COP, pingpong, volleyball, there are a lot of things to do here, so you don't get bores, they say here you can find the best party within the zone, the beach is very close to the hostel, it is a must visit, if you don't get to reserve a room here you still can go and have some drinks and chill, just that you can't use the pool unless you are actually staying at the hostel, service good. All good!!
