Outstanding BBQ. High quality ingredients and everything done as well or better than what you'd find in San Antonio and Austin.

Ordered the brisket tacos, pulled pork, baked beans, and st. Louis ribs. Sangria was great. Decided to order brisket and ribs to go because everything was incredible.

Carlos is an outstanding host.

Area is also super fun in terms of vibe, feeling like a mega picnic rather than a typical restaurant.

Best BBQ in la sábana, the smoked meats are amazing. Awesome brisket and pulled pork. I highly recommend it.

Incredible flavor and super high quality ingredients. Loved everything we ordered. Highly recommend the brisket tacos and ribs. Cornbread was also outstanding. Super cool vibe, relaxed & welcoming. A very special place — worth a day trip from bogota and definitely stop if you’re in the area!! Also get the pecan pie you won’t regret it!

This is a must if you want to have a texan experience, great service, amazing food and overall owner is always taking care of every detail. Drive outside the city and get together in this amazing spot for all the family.

My family and I enjoyed this thoroughly. I was finally able to introduce my Colombian family to delicious Texas BBQ. We asked the best time to come and arrived at 12:15. There were 8 tables filled at that time. By 1:15 a line half a block formed. Come early!! By 1:30 they were out of their DELICIOUS wings. We ordered one picada and cowboy fries, and basically the rest of the menu. Pies, sides, wings, chicharron, drinks. How refreshing it was to drink tasty Kool-Aid with slow cooked brisket and ribs. Everything and I mean everything was delicious, they put love into the cook all the way down to the cole slaw. It was as traditional as it gets and without doubt the best BBQ I've ever eaten in my life.

Will be back undoubtably.

Also, close to the main highway. A few miles off but with a pueblo and fincas.

Wow really good brisket in Colombia! I saw the sign for Austin's Texas BBQ while out for a Sunday drive, I was thinking ok probably it's not going to be that good but why not give it a try? I was very impressed with the flavor of The Brisket, the Beans, and coleslaw! As I was finishing up one of the owners Carlos came in and sat down with me! He explained he has a Texas partner. He also said that the smoke flavor which is very good is achieved using coffee wood! I will definitely be back for more! Way to go Carlos, Roger, and Roberto! BBQ Home away from home!🍻

What a fun day! With a group of friends in Bogotá we rented a van for USD $8/person and came out to the lovely countryside town of Subachoque. The food here at Austin Texas BBQ was amazing! Excellent seasoning, and the sampler platter was perfect for us to try all of the different meats. Onsite there’s also a pony, horses, and a swing set which I’d imagine is fun for kids but also kept us adults entertained haha. Also, I loved that they are pet friendly so that my dog could come along and spend the day with us on this adventure. Definitely an enjoyable way to escape the hustle & bustle of Bogotá and eat a delicious meal!

This place has authentic Austin style BBQ. It’s outside of the city, so it’s definitely a day trip, but it’s totally worth it. It’s super family friendly with lots of green for the kids to run around.

We had a wonderful time at Austin’s Texas barbecue. A friend from Bogota invited us here and it is absolutely worth the drive. The service was fast and friendly and all dishes really tasty. My personal favorite were the ribs!

Can't say enough about the best BBQ in Colombia. I have to go back, because I forgot to take pictures ;). Great 'on farm' experience also- you can feed the horses carrots and there are swings for the kids as well! Definitely worth the drive to get to, I missed my bbq spot back home. The only thing I think that could improve this is possibly a vegetarian platter, maybe offering a selection of the sides, so I can drag Any friend along!

Great restaurant, the food is incredible, well cooked with great appetizers, it's Texan BBQ authentic, on weekends it could be really busy and sometimes you need to wait for a table outside, the parking lot is too small, most of the times you leave your car outside (it's not an issue 'cause there is someone organising them but....!), I really recommend it just arrive early.

It was really awesome! The best was the pork!!!🤤 Delicious!! 1000% recommended and for dessert and incredible blueberries pie!! 🥧

Most amazing Texas experience in South America. Awesome food. Meat rolls off the bone as it was written in the scripture. Fabulous food and ambience. A place to visit again and again. Good one Roger.
