ESTELAR Paipa Hotel & Centro de Convenciones

Great hotel with a 5 star service, since last time I visited them ,more than 18 months ago, they opened a new Italian restaurant and a new high end bar. It is worth spending your vacation at this place.

This hotel is a great getaway to enjoy a spa weekend. Relax in their hot spring Jacuzzis, book a massage, and enjoy the walks and activities like horse riding or kayaking.

They have improved noticeably the food at their restaurants, and the cocktails at their bar were delicious.

The rooms are a bit dated, but they still offer comfort while providing lovely sights of the natural surroundings.

Great place to stay at. Everything you need is right at the resort. Excellent staff very attentive. I would highly recommend staying here.

I came here with my parents ta and we stayed 3 nights. It was awesome!!! The service was really amazing and the activities were great as well. My parents are 80+ years old and they hung out by the pool, went to the gym, jacuzzi, spa. We went to the bar downstairs to drink at night and stayed until very late with a great atmosphere.
I did play tennis, rode horses, rode a mountain bike, went to the gym, spa, massages. The hot stone massage is increíble.
I would highly recommend this place and I definitely want to come back.

I couldn't be happier with the resort, truly its worthy of all its praise. My first trip to colombia was met with excellent service, patient staff who would help me communicate, and above all excellent service. I felt so welcomed and loved how the whole staff is dead set on me having and excellent time. Make sure your trip to colombia has a spot here, you'll be so happy. Also the view is gorgeous anywhere you look, take lots of pictures.

I got married in the hotel, returning and visiting to stay some days is really special. First and foremost, the view and the nature around the hotel takes you to another world. Excellent service and wonderful place to take your dog for some vacation.

Luisa is a rescue dog that lives in the hotel, we love her!

This is a lovely, relaxing hotel and convention center next to the Sochagota lake. Surrounded by lush green hills it's the perfect place for a retreat. Staff are super friendly and polite. Rooms are top notch as in any 5 star hotel. Food was great! Why? It serves some of the best and most traditional Colombian dishes! Loved it!

This hotel is amazing, the views are breathtaking, the petting zoo and the organic farm are small, but allowed us to know how the farm live is in Colombia.
The food and the drinks are superb the same as the wet area.
Our idea was to explore the town and the countryside, but the hotel was so great that we just stayed and relaxed for 4 days.

You never want to leave! The hotel has it all to keep the whole family entertained and relaxed. Natural hot springs, horseback riding tours, spa, kids park...the options are endless, not to mention the food which is amazing.

A very nice hotel in the province of Boyaca. Located directly at the Lago de Sochagota on a very large property. Very quiet location. Good restaurant with a large selection of food and drinks. Large well-equipped rooms. Own horses with which one can ride out. Good service, fast internet. Nearly perfect. Whirlpools fed with thermal water.

I took my wife here for diner recently and we were pleasantly surprised. It was her birthday and I wanted to not only to surprise her with a restaurant that offered great food, but also excellent service, relaxed atmosphere and a great view of the Sochagota lake. We are both great foodies and are always on the lookout for flavours and culinary experiences that would remind us of our years in our beloved England. I have to admit that my first choice of restaurant for our special evening wasn't the Estelar Paipa. However, in my mind I knew that it was the number one in elegance, prestige and a well established option. I wasn't wrong, from the moment we arrived at the gate we were offered amazing customer service, friendly and helpful. The drive towards the car park reminds you why this place is so special, the beautiful lake side scenery fills up your windscreen. Once inside we were greeted by more helpful and friendly staff. Our two year old son wasn't himself that night, upset and angry, however at least three of the waiters made attempts to distract him and offered ballons and other things to try and calm him down and it worked. The food was absolutely delicious, we ordered the duo ceviche and it was an explosion of fancy flavours in our mouths. For the main course my wife had fish and I had a cazuela which were both delicious and actually quite a big portion! The lake view was outstanding. I asked our waiter if it would be possible to write a Happy birthday decoration on my wife's desert plate and he complied beautifully. He even placed a candle on her desert and so it looked like I had staged the whole thing in advance when the truth was that I just told him that it was her birthday and if he could do something special to her desert. In conclusion, an amazing experience, we felt at home thanks to the excellent customer service and at the same time we felt special, well fed and happy. I would recommended this place 1.000 percent. By the way, if you're thinking that all of these things would cost you an arm and a leg... think again, your wallet will love it. I have been to places around here in Boyaca which are a lot more expensive and do not offer the quality and experience that the Estelar Paipa offers.

This hotel is really good has a variety of activities to do for people at different ages. You will be able to enjoy a relax day with all the rituals that can be perform at the Air, Water and Earth spa. Also has hot spring water jacuzzis, as well as big pool for kids and adults. Furthermore you have an amazing lake view, as well as marina services provided by the hotel. If you aim to relax or enjoy the wonders of Boyaca, thisbis the perfect place to do it.

Incredible beautiful landscape surrounding the hotel. The view for the lake and for the mountains is very touching. Somehow I felt it similar to Bavaria. The hotel has good services and accommodations.

Great option to relax and enjoy the water of Papa termales in one of the hot tube drinking something. They have a great spa where you can find good options to relax and take advantage of all the properties of the termals. The location offer great views of the lake and they offer a broad menu of food.
