Awesome stop at this historical set. The place is big and beautiful, full of history. There is a gentleman who usually gets near the always lit torch and gives an explanation of the events that took place here. Highly recommend it.

Historic place where the battle that won Colombia's independence was fought. Very well preserved and maintained... better to visit on a week day to avoid the crowds. The small convenience store in site was nice and the attendant very helpful and knowledgeable... great place for a good photo opportunity.

Enjoyed the landmark and its history. To be able to walk the same ground that was once walked on by Simon Bolivar was a special moment for me. I recommend all go and experience the emotions of the moment while you are there. You may not enjoy it if you are not into history.

This is spot where the colonial forces finally defeated the Spanish and Colombia with the surrounding countries gained their independence. A small monument but well maintained and worth a stop if only to appreciate the terrain in which the forces had to fight.

I really liked this place, despite being a bit shocking for the people that took me there that they started to charge per car. It seems that it used to be free and now there’s a 15000 COL pesos fee.

The place is quite wide to explore, there a monument to bolivar, the bridge and great views from the top. Also there are toilets, some merchants if you want a drink or something to eat and around the area there are other highlights.

This is one of the most important places to visit in Colombia, I believe, here took place the last battle that would grant Colombia its independence.

The most impressive and important battle for Colombia's independence happened here and the place has been renovated recently. There are restaurant and coffee option. Parking is quite big and the monuments are a true delight to watch and study. The walk is not easy however worth a visit.

I learned a lot about the history of the Grand Colombia. The grounds are kept very nice, bathrooms and a small cafe are available. A great place to visit. Weekdays are better.

It was an amazing experience to visit this monument to one of the bloodiest battles for the Independence of the Americas. The flags, the sculptures, the views. Simply superb.

Beautiful place, but despite being an important place in Colombian history, there are no touristic guides. Needs to read a little before visit if want to know about it

This bridge is the representation of the good relationship that has Spain and Colombia after the independence war between this two countries.

The real bridge was made in 1939 making a monument of the real bridge that was made in wood over the begginigs of 1800 being the Boyaca's battle in 1819.

Today it is one or the most important monument of Colombia in all it's history as it was hear when La Nueva Granada won the battle and the screamed their independence in front of the Spanish.

This is one of the most historical places in Colombia, where the independence took place, of course they built one again as almost 200 years ago.
