Cascadas de Juan Curi Ecological Park

Undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. The waterfalls are simply breathtaking and we had the added bonus of visiting on a weekday when there were only a few tourists. There's an entrance fee to get into the park (around $12,000) and a short hike of about 30 minutes to get to the highest waterfall. I would class the hike as mild to moderate with a few steepish steps and some slippery areas. I especially liked that there was a circular route back (for a large part) to make the return hike a little more interesting.

Good footwear and mosquito repellent is highly advised.

Very beautiful! We took the path up at the mainland entrance but we walked down from the other side of the waterfall which I'd very much recommended. You walk trough water and mud but the waterfall has so many levels and you can go for swims everywhere, it's a lush green jungle path!

A great place to check out if you’re in the San Gil area. Only a 30 minute drive from San Gil, and about a 20-30 minute climb to the waterfall. Not super challenging but it will get the heart rate up. Great to swim and hangout at the waterfall. Very peaceful and enjoyable!

Amazing waterfall to visit while in San Gil! Takes about 30 minutes to get to by public bus. The walk leading to the waterfall is nice n relaxing as well. Make sure to go to the big waterfall. It is possible to do rappelling here as well.

Only went to start off rafting down the upper Fonce. Wish we had more time, it’s a beautiful spot. The hike to the waterfall looks great.

Beautiful stone pathways take you through a lush tropical forest to rhe lowest part of rhe cascade. If you want to see the upper falls, take the trail to the right at the Yellow building.

Juan Curi is a must visit. We repelled a 230 ft waterfall, absolutely amazing. Do not leave San Gil without visiting.

To get there you have to walk approx 30 min thru the jungle (nothing difficult) and it's worth it! Waterfall is beautiful. Entrance is 15k which seems to me pricey but at the end we were able to accept it cause the whole trail and waterfall were great

Fantastic beautiful place - not so busy with tourists (visited in September) waterfall was absolutely insane - repelled down the falls with the park guides (paid at the bottom of the hill but you can also pay at the top) 10/10 experience and a fantastic swim at the bottom of the falls after

The waterfall and the surrounding hikes in the area are gorgeous. Repelling down the waterfall is 70m of white-knuckle fun; completely worth a visit just for that alone. There are also shops with food and drinks near the parking lot.

Loveloy walk (20-30 ms) to a beautiful waterfall where you can do some rock climbing. This whole plan (from San Gil and back) can take you 3-4 hours.

Really lovely place to swim and visit!

I loved it. Once you started Walk to the waterfall the forest getting more deep and beautiful. The waterfall is so amazing, I didn't do any extreme sport but I liked so much be stand up in front of it.

This is an awesome place for just a day trip. There is a hike which ends at the end of a beautiful waterfall. Other hikers can opt for rappelling down the waterfall. There is a kiosk where you can buy some snacks and even a full meal. There is ample parking if you choose to drive yourself. Highly recommend it and dont forget to tip your guide. You dont have to but they will appreciate it.

People should go there, it is a must. The experience is incredible and the view in indescribable. You won't regret it. It is really easy to get there and you only have to walk for about 15 min. There's a parking service if you go by car or bike. The normal entrance costs 9,000 Colombian pesos, really worths the money.
