Museum Sugarcane

This is a beautiful place with amazing landscapes. If you want to learn about the history of the sugar cane and all the artifacts found in the place, it’s recommended to go with a tour guide as there is no description. There is no restaurant on the premises but there is a small store where you can buy snacks. It’s a must see if you like nature and the related colonial history of the region.

Great place to learn about sugarcane process. The museum is beautiful and surrounded by lots of trees, flowers, brooks and ponds. It also has a traditional house where you can see how people used to live a while ago.

Worth visiting! At only one and a half hours from Cali, it's a spectacular nature surrounded hacienda full of history about the sugar cane industry, slavery, social customs and female discrimination at the beginning of 19th century. If you like it don't miss Hacienda El Paraíso only a few minutes away.

In the beautiful, lush settings of the Colombian countryside exists this jewel of a place just off the beaten path. Really enjoyable for tourists getting to know places in Valle.

Our group enjoyed our tour of the lovely botanicals as well as our tour guide's explanation of the sugar cane process over time as well as the equipment.
