Ritmo Del Rio - Hotel y Restaurante

Ritmo del Río is a very special place, full of nature, animals and beautiful scenic river hangout spots. The staff are all very friendly and I loved the food from the restaurant! Thank you!

The most incredible place! My husband and stayed here for a week and never wanted to leave! All around you is incredible nature and the freshest air! The staff is super friendly and helpful with everything you ask for. The food is the best I’ve had in a very long time, and you can order smoothies, cocktails, beer and more whenever you’d like! There are loads of fun activities nearby, and a beautiful river to swim in as well! I highly recommend coming here for your stay!

By far one of the best places I have stayed so far. Located in the middle of the jungle surrounded by deafening nature. The people who run the place are very friendly and helpful and full of stories. The food was on another level, made with fresh ingredients from the organic garden that's also run by the hotel. The rio next to the Hostal has some amazing remote swimming spots and there's plenty of exploring to do around here. The city centre is fun to visit, especially on weekends when it's flooded with locals having a good time. Nos vemos :)

I stayed here for a week. The location is beautiful- lots of hikes, swimming spots in rivers, or you can just relax in a hammock. The food portions are generous sizes and fresh juices are delicious.

Such a beautiful hotel completely surrounded by nature. The food is divine and most of the ingredients are sourced from their farm, the rooms are amazing and the staff are super friendly!

It is a really nice and peaceful hotel, right near the river. Great place to relax and enjoy nature. The staff is very nice and speaks both English and Spanish. The only downside is that there only cold showers and no ac, so be prepared. Overall, it was a really good experience.

I stayed here 2 weeks and absolutely loved it. The property is surrounded by rivers, waterfalls, and multiple swimming areas. The staff are incredibly friendly. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature.

Ritmo del Río is a little paradise just 3 hours from Medellín! Tucked away in the heart of nature, you can enjoy the freshness of the river, the song of the birds, the company of the dogs and some concerts by the fire... The team is fantastic, smiling and friendly! Food at the restauran is incredible with a really good vegetarian option, you can order drinks and delicious cakes whenever you want! And there are plenty of activities at the hotel and in the surrounding area: table tennis, swimming, yoga, hiking, horse riding, tubing, a visit to a cocoa finca... You're bound to have a great time! Just enjoy!

Beautiful and relaxing, I would highly recommend spending at absolute minimum 3-nights here. They have a picturesque farm where they grow some of the veggies they cook with, the food is amazing and staff are super friendly. Awesome place to just rest relax, and swim in the river, but also lots of tours to do in San Rafael if you ask about them too! You can organise cheap Spanish lessons at the lodge as well, I didn't this time but heard they were great.

We had such an amazing stay at Ritmo del Río! The setting in the jungle and near the river is stunning, the staff is friendly and the accommodation is beautiful. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food is delicious, highly recommend it for a peaceful vacation!

An absolutely beautiful place!! The setting, the people, and the soul of Ritmo del Río are full of light&love☀ It is a place where you can relax and immerse yourself in nature with multiple magical swimming holes, hammocks, and incredible flora and fauna (if you sit in the restaurant for a morning, you’re guaranteed to see so many breathtaking bird species — and the staff can help you ID them!). The restaurant, the musical instruments, the ping pong tables, and the campfire area also give you great opportunities to connect with other people.

The food is absolutely delicious and much of it is HYPERlocal from the farm on site🪴The staff is always friendly and helpful and can connect you with other activities around San Rafael! Accommodations are clean and comfortable.

What a unique jungle paradise!
Spent a week hiking, testing the numerous spots to swim in the river and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and late night campfires. They serve delicious food and their vegetarian dishes are some of the best I’ve eaten in Colombia. Feels secluded, but is easily reached from San Rafael by tuk-tuk or walking. Tons of activities arranged in the area, check out the Ashram for their yoga sessions and don’t leave without visiting Con Olor a Cacao for a chocololate tour.

Amazing stay, beautiful grounds, plenty of river pools, ping pong, jams, and delicious food. Rooms are clean, spacious, and modern. Staff is very attentive and very friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get off the beaten path and have a relaxing experience in the luscious nature of Columbia.

the most relaxing holiday we had in a while! The lodge is in the lap of nature and among the Colombian jungles and a pristine waterfalls. The Crystal clear mountain waters are great to bathe in. You can hear the therapeutic waters through the lodge while you sleep 😴 eat and cool on the hammocks . Highly recommend staying here for a ful nature detox. They also have star link if you need to work from here!

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The meals they serve are perfect, lots of variance and always very healthy. They acomodate to all diets. The location is beautiful with rivers to swim and waterfalls to enjoy. Recomend this place!!!

This is truly such a special place! The river with its natural pools to swim in is very close and the jungle all around is so lush and alive. The food and staff are amazing and the whole place is very well taken care of. This is a perfect spot to wind down and connect to nature.

Ritmo del Río is a very special place to stay. The surroundings are very tranquil, including the lovely town of San Rafael. The lodge itself is beautiful; thoughtfully integrated with stunning nature. This alone would make it worth visiting, but the team make it even more special. Paola, Carlos and Jesse (and all of the kitchen & farm staff) are wonderful and kind people.

Staying here has been a highlight of our backpacking trip, and we are hoping to return!

This is a great place in the middle of nature. I very much reccommend! You will see many beautiful birds. The staff are awesome. They grow much of the food on the property and it is absolutely delicious. A relaxing place.

I was volonteer during 2 weeks at Ritmo Del Rio, it’s an amazing place in the mountains that I really recommend! Its really quiet, people there are very very kind! You have some rivers spot to swim and I have to say the food is incredible!! (Especially cakes)

Very good place to experience the nature of San Rafael! Great value for your money :) Warning for those wary of animals: there are dogs and cats on the property!
