A magical place in La Vega Cundinamarca, you'll figure out a beautiful lagoon surrounded by several dirt roads with lots of nature.

Wonderful hiking trails and very good birdwatching.

It is a small park that can be visited between 2 to 4 hours. It has different tracks surrounding the lagoon. You can also do birdwatching around the lagoon an inside the forest. We saw cormorant playing on top of trunks inside the lagoon. Some other birds but as I am not an expert, no idea about their names. Bring some binoculars or a good camera to do some proper birdwatching. Even in a hot day the forest is fresh, also bring protection for the mosquitos. They like fresh city blood a lot. Also good to dress in colors similar to the forest to get closer to the birds. They sing all they long.

This is a small lake (pond) that is well maintained with walking trails and plenty of wildlife. Entrance fee ~ cop$3000 very enjoyable. One trail takes you up the mountain about 200 meters above the lake for a nice view.

A beautiful lake surrounded by beautiful, green countryside. You can feed the fish and there are a lot of them. There are hiking trails around the lake which we enjoyed. The hike in to the lake from the parking lot was a little over 5 minutes.

Nice place to do hiking with friends or family. You can buy some fish food and feed fishes and ducks as well. I recommend to take a bottle of water, comfortable shoes and clothes. To arrive this wonderful place from La Vega town, you can take a van or driving a car.

A very unique place full of nature, green and peace, close enough from Bogotá to have a Sunday trip with friends and family, it costs 4500COP per person, the parking is at no cost, it is very important you wear suitable shoes as for the terrain is very muddy and steep, but the panorama is very rewarding, near the entrance you will find restrooms and restaurants with a variety of dishes common to the town.

Nature, views and silence. It also has a section to go camping.

Nice place to relax, entrance fees: 3,500 pesos. Plenty of fish of various species and sizes. There's pathway to walk to the top and enjoy the lagoon's view
