Best Western Plus Santa Marta Hotel

We LOVED our stay so much we came back at the end of our trip! The rooftop area is so luxurious with excellent views. Rooms are clean and modern. Front desk staff were so helpful and spoke English well. The restaurant “blue ribbon burger” is delicious!

5 stars! Great location and excellent rooms/ room service. The restaurant onsite is also top notch. Rooftop pool and bar has magnificent views. I’ll be back. Only zonk would be homeless campers outside in alley next to hotel.

The breakfast was surprisingly top notch,the the room was comfortable and the pool had an excellent view. Great deal for the money!

Extremely comfortable and extended our stay. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful and have gone beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast is a 10. The pool and sky bar have fabulous views and the bar/ pool staff very friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

This hotel is one of the best options in downtown Santa Marta when quality hotels are concerned. Rooms are spacious, well maintained, comfortable, and well lit. The staff at the front desk, the ladies at the restaurant, and all the cleaning personnel are superb. You have to check the great views and magical sunsets from the top floor.

The rooftop pool and king suite will make you feel like you've died and gone to heaven. Clean and beautiful. The nicest BW I have ever had the pleasure to stay in and the service was impeccable

A very comfortable hotel, located in Santa Marta. Not at El Rodadero, which is very crowded with turists, but close to Santa Marta downtown. Very convenient for business travelers. There is a small pool at the top of the hotel, with a very nice view of the port, the ocean, and the marina.

Clean hotel. Close to everything. Amazing Pool. Hotel is quiet. Food actually amazing except the chocolate cake desert was awful. Only thing we weren't happy about is the food and drinks were way over priced. Eat out. Nice staff was very accommodating.

I stayed in this hotel for business purposes, the hotel is completely new, rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and noise protected. I had the complimentary breakfast which is rich and varied, I did not have any problem during check in or out, staff personnel always attentive to your needs. The location is not the best but is not that bad either, you need to walk like five or six blocks to the marina and the beach shore, and four or five blocks to a nice area called "Parque de los Novios" for fine restaurants and bars. I definitely would stay there if needed. Ahhh, the price is way better than other hotels of same category.

Perfect spot for a layover before going to Tayrona national park. Staff is very friendly and helpful, pool area on the rooftop is nice and the breakfast is also everything you would expect.

Santa Marta itself isn't really a city you would want to spend too much time, as large parts of the city are quite dodgy, but if you're going to Tayrona, I'd say the hotel is a good place to spend a day do before or after your visit to the park.

Excellent modern hotel of 16 floors in the heart of Santa Marta. The rooftop pool and Sky bar are highlights with city, mountain amd sea views and spectacular sunsets. The breakfast buffet is superb and includes omelettes, waffles and local dishes like cayeye and envueltas and delicious soups. They gave me a nice welcome gift of cheese, meats, fruits and olives as recognition of my Diamond Select status with BW Rewards. Wi-Fi is excellent and works well throughout the building. Across the street is the main station for Marsol, a minivan service to Cartagena, Minca, Palomino, etc. And just 5 minutes away by foot is a new Olympica supermarket to stock your mini-fridge. Highly recommended and 12,000 points is great value if you have BW Rewards points. Recommended!
