Food here was great. We had the menu of the day. We both had the corn soup which was great. For the main course, I had the salmon and my husband had the chicken. Both paired with mashed potatoes. Everything was excellent. The dessert was good too. Excellent value as the menu which included everything mentioned was 8k ($9usd). Highly recommend

Lovely outdoor terrace and general atmosphere. We went there twice, for lunch and dinner. The menu del dia was a good option for us, with good portion for reasonable price. It deserves its high rating.

Very good meal for a very reasonable price. We had the menu for 8,000 CLP. We had soup, salmon and dessert. In addition to it we had a drink special for 7,000 we got two awesome drinks. The service was fast and the seating outside was very pleasant.

Best value for money in San Pedro! I ordered the daily menu and it was the best choice. For 6500 I received a soup with beef (sooo delicious), a fish with salad (very fresh and well seasoned) and a desert (super creamy). The freshly pressed Kiwi juice was just natural and not sweetened (as I asked for it). A must do in San Pedro, although you have to queue a bit. But the service is so fast, it goes by quickly and it is really worth it.

Great place. Very good and honest fresh local food, a large variety of choices (without being overwhelming), and relatively good prices compared to other places in San Pedro de Atacama. The menu (daily special) is good, with choices for entree and main, and quite cheap. We've been for lunch twice in the last 4 days.

4.5 rating… the mint and ginger lemonade was very refreshing and delicious. The creole spaghetti with limo saltado was fantastic - great flavors and huge portion. The daily menu (appetizer, main with side and dessert) had some great options for a fabulous price. Meat was tender and sides were good. Music loud but local songs were fun to hear.

Very busy restaurant (at dinner time, at least) due to good food, large portions and very reasonable prices. There is a nice outdoor seating patio. Drinks, including alcoholic beverages, are aplenty and prices are really good. Menu of the day runs all day and night long, happy hours (only cocktails though) as well.

Came here for dinner on a weekend.

Food was all prepared well and was very filling.

Only suggestion is to upgrade the lighting as the halogen lights are a bit harsh in the inside dining area.

We went twice to this restaurant while staying in San Pedro, fast service, good drinks and delicious dishes. The chicken was juicy and my husband enjoyed his steak.
Really good value for money so would definitely recommend!

It was fairly priced and good food - especially their preset menu. Definitely worth checking out. Good pisco sours!

Great food and service, very affordable and efficient. The only weird part is that you queue for a table in the back room not at the front doors of the restaurant.

Visited on a Monday early afternoon for lunch and the home-cooked traditional no-frills cooking did not disappoint. There is outside seating and indoor seating but show up early as queues form quickly at peak times. COVID restrictions have limited the indoor seating to six tables.

While there are two fish choices and salads, meat dishes dominate the menu. For lunch, La Picada del Indio offer a two-course fixed menu for 6,000 pesos which is a great deal. Upon seating, you are served a complimentary portion of pan amasado with a side of pebre. The food was fresh and authentic with the portion sizes generous. If you are after a tasty meat dish give the carne mechada (shredded beef) with roasted potatoes a try. If you are after a home-cooked authentic no-frills meal at a great price La Picada del Indio is the spot for you.

Cute little bakery/restaurant. The empanadas are awesome! Service is great. Highly recommended! Be sure to get there early enough. We went on a busy day and they sold out by 6pm.

Excellent meal and very affordable. 37000 pesos for 4 people. Chicken with egg on top (pollo a la pobre) was incredible as was the Lomo Saltado. Staff was very friendly.
