Café Turístico Lucymarc

We stopped here last week on our way south and were helped by a super sweet man (who was very patient with my terrible Spanish). We got a 3-pack of wagon-wheel like chocolates and a little bag of assorted chocolates, all of which were SO GOOD. The raspberry wheel in particular was my favourite.

What made the experience especially memorable, however, was when the man showed us the artwork around the shop, which we learned were painted by his wife using chocolate.

We highly recommend stopping at this little shop if you’re passing by.

An absolute gem of a place. Definitely worth a stop. We were served by Fernando, Lucy’s husband, and looked after very well. The gooseberry crumble cake (kuchen) and chocolate cake (torta) were very good. The kuchen is very worthy of its awards! Hot chocolate done properly with real chocolate. Very good prices.

There’s a lovely collection of quince cake, teas, juices, artesian chocolate, homemade jams (would have loved to buy some jam if we knew we wouldn’t lose these at the border!) Thank you Fernando.

A 10/10 experience. The capuchinos were phenomenal and the kuchen was so good (we recommend the banana one!), their apple crumble was also delicious and it’s won prizes. They source most things locally and also make such good artisanal chocolate that’s perfect to take with you on the road. Fernando attended us and was extremely kind and helpful. He also says he works with other businesses in town and is super happy to help cyclists and anyone passing through with repairs and everything. He also has a small cabin which he rents out for people looking to rest in a bed. We loved it and are definitely planning on stopping here on our way back up.

the perfect place to stop in the city. Lucy and her husband Fernando are extremely kind, Fernando is very funny. we enjoyed homemade hot chocolates and cakes (chocolate, clafoutis, crumble, etc.), natural juices, right in front of the fireplace. Lucy has won several awards for her “kuchen” clafoutis! they also have a room to rent. They gave very good advice to cyclists. a stop not to be missed on the Carretera!

Wow!! I absolutely loved this place. Lucy was so lovely and it was such a treat meeting her. Speaking of treats, the banana cake was amazing!! Best I’ve ever had. Be sure to drop in if you are driving past.

Superb cafe with amazing hosts and amazing hot chocolate. Did a quick stop here while on Ruta7. The owners are absolutely delightful and stole our hearts. The desserts were fantastic as well so feel free to stop by and grab a slice !

Enjoyed our stop for chocolates and local artesanal goods -- Fernando and Lucy were charming and friendly, good to our son and helpful in orienting us to the area.

Hard to describe this unique experience. Lucy and her Husband are wonderful hosts, with great food, outstanding chocolate, and a variety of knick knacks to purchase.

Muy rico los Kuchen y el café de grano, el lugar muy agradable y artístico, con cuadros hermosos pintados de chocolate por ella y enmarcados por él, libros de la zona y mermeladas caseras. Lo magnífico, es que todo fue hecho por sus dueños Lucy y Fernando, además tienen una vista maravillosa a sus alrededores. Muy bien acogidos y el ambiente hogareño que hace recordar una reunión familiar.

Très belle maison, très bien reçus par Fernando, excellente cuisine par Lucy. On se sent à la maison. Pleins d'autres surprises par ce couple très créatif ! Halte parfaite pour les cyclistes, pour reprendre de l'énergie, garder le sourire, remplir ses gourdes, etc... Bravo !

Los mejores kuchenes y chocolate caliente, no habían alfajores pero dicen que son buenos. Los dueños muy simpaticos. Lugar recomendable adornado de cuadros pintados con chocolate

Lucy y Fernando son los mejores anfitriones que alguien pueda pedir!!

Por lejos los mejores kuchen están aquí, el de manzana limón es realmente maravilloso. Nos atendió Don Fernando, muy amoroso y simpático, nos contó un par de historias y nos regaló una postal con una dedicatoria, de esos gestos que ya no se ven, si andan cerca les recomiendo pasar no se arrepentiran.

En la entrada sur de mañiguales por la carretera austral se encuentran Doña Lucy y Don Fernando, agradables personas con las que puedes disfrutar de una buena conversación acompañado de muchas cosas ricas para comer. Recomiendo probar el té de cacao y el kuchen de plátano. Una delícia

Estuve en V.Mañihuales y visite Café Lucymar. Sus dueños muy amables. Excelente atención, ricos y novedosos aperitivos de la zona, repostería fresca y exquisita. Chocolates y alfajores finos, con productos de la zona.
Artesanía bella y novedosa.
Felicitaciones a sus dueños. Bendiciones y a seguir atendiendo a los viajeros con esa cordialidad que los caracteriza.

Café familial très agréable avec du bon chocolat belge ! Lucy fait également beaucoup d’artisanat. Les gâteaux sont très bons (prix régional du « kuchen). Son époux nous a accueilli chaleureusement.

Probamos el kuchen de manzana, cereza y el pastel de chocolate, todos muy ricos. El chocolate caliente rico y reconfortante. La atención muy amable y cariñosa. El ambiente cálido y acogedor.

Muy amable, chocolate caliente con sabor a cacao, rico café de grano y probé un Kuchen de murta, un sabor exquisito. Buen lugar para parar en plena carretera.
