Hilton Garden Inn Santiago - Airport

Great, hotel for a layover, while waiting for the next hotel, staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant serves a wonderful breakfast, with fresh eggs (scrambled, cooked and fried), bacon, sausage, different dairy products and cold cuts, and serials and lots of different bread types.

Very nice place to relax after an outdoors trip in Patagonia before starting the next adventure. It was great to have a place to do laundry and relax in the sauna and pool.

Do be warned that the airport shuttle only runs every hour, and you have to call in advance to ask them to come pick you up at the airport if you want. I didn't realize this and had to pay a $25 cab fare to go four minutes down the road in a taxi because I didn't want to wait another hour for the airport shuttle after a long day of traveling.

A beautiful hotel. Personal reception, very comfy beds, clean and fresh. Good, predictable breakfast. Excellent shuttle to the airport, and they allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel while we went into Santiago for the day.

After my father had an awful experience at a different hotel (shuttle not turning up, being ripped off by a taxi driver) when he arrived to Santiago, I contacted the team at Hilton to 100% confirm that the hotel had an airport shuttle and that it was operational.

The team were professional, courteous and went above and beyond to reassure me, organise contact directly with the hotel, and coordinate the shuttle for my Dad. Dad was really happy with the service provided and the whole experience and I am super grateful there were no complications.

Incredible airport hotel. Service was amazing. From personally responding to emails, having a shuttle waiting for pickup, arranging a 3am! drop off and more. They had our room ready at 8am which was a godsend after a long flight. The rooms were clean, very quiet, and comfortable. It is easy to get an Uber into the city if you have a long layover. 20 minutes to Barria Italia, 10 minutes to the airport. Honestly perhaps some of the best hospitality I've gotten - thank you to everyone on the staff here!

Great service and an overall great experience. Here are my notes to help others.

They do have an airport shuttle, but its more like a minivan that seats 6. It leaves for the airport on the top of the hour with reservation. If you take an uber from the airport, its about $10 and you will have to meet the driver away from the front of the airport.

The windows in the rooms are very thick so they are QUIET. Lighting wasnt very good in the room though. Only 1 USB charging port so be sure to have your Chilean adapter.

Restaurant service and food were great. Just a bit pricey.

Check in was a breeze. Very competent and friendly.

This hotel is located very close to the airport, making it convenient for meetings, quick turnarounds, etc. The staff is great and very helpful, including wonderful suggestions for dinner. The rooms are very clean in great shape.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Great location close to the airport with a free shuttle service running every hour. The layout and decor throughout the hotel are excellent. The front desk staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant provides an excellent buffet breakfast and the restaurant staff are brilliant. The rooms are great and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are perfect with a nice big shower with good water pressure. The gym is well equipped with functioning equipment and the heated pool and jacuzzi are amazing. Overall this is an excellent hotel that I would highly recommend.

I had a nice stay here. I was with a good friend and we had some fantastic perks including some free desert and incredible wine. My room was spacious and well outfitted. The service was spectacular. Of great note was the crème brûlée sampler the restaurant. It was superb. 5/5.

Choose this hotel if it is imperative to be close to the airport. They provide a free shuttle service which is extremely helpful as rental cars and taxis can be a headache and pricey. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to assist with a few special requests. Please note, this is not close to any attractions in Santiago.

I am adding the instructions for the free airport shuttle that the hotel provides, as I have seen some complaints that patrons couldn't figure this out. Follow the instructions and you should have no problem!

A great hotel when you need to be by the airport. The breakfast was excellent and there is a free shuttle to the airport which leaves every hour on the hour. The rooms were very comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure. The hot tub and sauna were acceptable but could have been hotter. If you need to go anywhere in the city of Santiago then you would need to get an Uber or taxi as there isn't much around otherwise. Would be happy to return.

Convenient location - 5 minute taxi ride from airport . Free shuttle van works on the hour. Restaurant has nice food but is pretty expensive.

After a massive delayed by LATAM (I won’t get into it, I’ll save it for LATAMs review), I decided to get a room while I waited for my flight, which was delayed for 8 hours! I didn’t feel like waiting at the airport and chose this hotel to rest and shower while waiting on my LATAM flight that was 8 hours delayed, did I mention that already? Getting to the hotel took about 10 minutes, which was great! I got to the hotel and proceeded to explain my situation and was kindly told that check-in is at 3 which presented a problem for me since I had to be at the airport by 3 and was only going to use the room for a few hours… Abigail at the front desk sensed my frustration and asked me what was going on, she then worked so hard to accommodate me! Took me to the business center and told me to wait until she was able to find me a room! This really made my day! This is why I give my business to Hilton, is so nice to see the same standards from a brand you know when you are traveling abroad. I mean, even if she hadn’t been able to get me a room, I saw how hard she tried to make my short stay a pleasant one and be empathetic to my situation. The room was great, I was able to rest, shower and snack until it was my time to leave. She had my shuttle scheduled and ready. I have to also mention the great service from the shuttle driver, whose name scapes me at the moment. I really hope management sees this and congratulates that young lady for me! Excellent service! Above and beyond!

Can only leave a 5 star review after they let us check in at 8am and have a free breakfast on the day. Got the absolute best room at the hotel too. Just what we needed after long and exhausting flights. We got a very late checkout as well. We’re gold members but we feel the staff here went the extra mile for us.

Delicious breakfast and buffet lunch. The latter seemed expensive but the employee suggesting a takeaway box made it great value for money 👍

Don't buy the instant pizza at the front desk they put it in the microwave but it needs to be cooked in an oven to follow directions and not get sick.

Really nice hotel, especially for being an airport hotel! Staff was friendly, restaurant was tasty, and transport to the airport was quick and free!

A pleasant surprise. Nice rooms. Cordial staff. Had the ceviche dinner. Excellent. Will probably have it again tonight. Location leaves a bit to be desired, industrial park, but the rest of the hotel makes up for it.

Everyone, our experience overall has been extremely pleasant at this hotel. We have been with Hilton nearly 30 years, we owe two time shares. At this specific hotel, the staff has done an exceptional job. We would like to thank and recognize Juan Pizarro, at the bar. Juan's created several wonderful drinks. The rooms are nice, bed is extremely comfortable and the Escanea nuestra carta, restaurant prepares good food. It's always nice to have a restaurant with a bar. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices are reasonable. Con, this hotel is located in an industrical area. Approximately 25 minutes from downtown. Recommendation, use Uber, its about $18, do not use a taxi. Taxi drivers can not be trusted regarding the price they charge. Downtown, there are lots of uniformed law enforcement officers on bikes, foot patrols, posted at intersections and patroling. Santiago, like any other major city in the United States has good and questionable areas. Just be mindful where you are at, register with the Department of State to receive travel updates. Again, great experience. I hope this helps others travelers who visit Santiago.

This Hilton was clean and conveniently located. What stood out to me the most was the staff. I use Hilton in the states frequently for business and there was a notable difference in the staff in Santiago. They went over and above to make you feel welcomed.

Excellent hotel. Very close to the airport. I booked a shuttle via email beforehand, and they gave us a free ride to the hotel.
The hotel interior looks clean and new.
Breakfast is really good.
Pool area, which has a jacuzzi and sauna as well, is excellent (didn't try the Sauna though). Great facility for showers and change room.
The reception was always nice and helpful.
The room we got was a bit tight for 4 people, but that's probably because that's what we booked.
