La Cocina restaurant in Concepción, Chile, is an absolute gem! My lunch experience here was fantastic. The nachos plate was loaded with flavor and the jumbo shrimps were cooked to perfection. The ambiance was welcoming and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend La Cocina for anyone looking for delicious food and a great dining atmosphere in Concepción. Five stars all the way!

Nice restaurant with a happy, relaxed vibe, great food, great cocktails and good service at an honest price. I am usually wary of large restaurants or restaurants with a large menu because the food tends to be sub par. La Cocina is pretty big and has an extensive menu, but it is clearly an exception to the rule. Everything we tried was cooked on the spot and very tasty. It is not a "fancy" restaurant, but they have a great selection of everything, including seafood with great shrimp empanadas and a fantastic crab "Chupe de Jaiba". Coctails are also properly prepared and there is a good choice of them, including a killer Rusty Nail (clavo oxidado). When the weather is nice the large terrace is a favorite spot where to eat, but there is also ample space inside.

Food is good. But serving is a little slow. Usually wait food for 15 or more minutes when dinner time

Amazing ambience. Same is food. Wide selection of drinks. And a nice chat with staff. Had a great time there.

One of the highlight restaurants of Concepcion, a bit on the expensive side. Some waiters know English very well which helps visitors who do not know Spanish understand the menu and the various delicacies they have to offer. Known for their selection of mojitos. Their lasagna was also pretty good.

Excellent vegetarian options and good drinks, especially the micheladas. We liked the ample patio.

Nice michelada and ceviche. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Recommended to take some drinks and foods at the evening.
