Restaurant Rucalaf

We got it recommended by our host and it’s been definitely worth it. Got there at around 6pm and found a table without reservation…got pretty crowded at around seven, so I guess we’ve been lucky.
Food variety was plenty and lots of fresh seafood dishes. We’ve been greeted friendly and even though my Spanish is near to nothing the waitress tried her best to explain the dishes and give recommendations. Everything we had from starter to dessert was delicious and super nice organized on the plates. The whole atmosphere was welcoming and warm. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I traveled around a lot and this is the best fish restaurant ever.

Prices are on the upper range at this great restaurant. The ambient is well decorated and the view is amazing from every table the dishes that change every other day are well prepared and very tasty. We had gnocchi and octopus, which were both very nice and prepared to perfection, the desert, a rosemary, crème brûlée, was also excellent, and the staff is very kind.

Cozy place with a nice sunset view, everything we ate (sea food) is packed with taste, and the service was quick and very welcoming.

No need to search further... this is your best choice! We went three times in two days during our stay in Refugio Pullao. Try the Copa de pulpo y erizo, the Merluza and the congrio with pure de prietas. The murta sour and the tiramisu... to sum it up, try everything!

Simply amazing. I’ve traveled quite a bit and been to amazing restaurants and Rucalaf has got to be one of the best ones I’ve been to. They’ve taken traditional Chilote dishes and elevated them whilst keeping generous portions and the traditional taste in them. Highly recommended!

Small selection of really good food.

This place is a great choice when you are visiting Chiloé. Friendly staff, good food. The portions are generous and the menu changes regularly. Definitely recommend the civeché.

In early 2015, we had an overall amazing dinner for two times. We really enjoyed the creativ, fresh dishes which had appearently a great quality. This was definitely one of the best restaurants we discovered in whole Chile.
