Cheltenham General Store

I recently visited the general store in Cheltenham and purchased a bookmark and some other cute stuff. I came back only to find it was not glued properly. Disappointed with the quality, I called the store to inquire about an exchange cause this is one of a kind and this was my first time to find such a cute Metallic bookmark. To my relief, the staff were incredibly polite and accommodating, immediately offering to exchange. Although they were ready to run another errand for me, I opted to just exchange the item. The staff remained polite and friendly throughout the process, leaving me impressed with their customer service. I wouldn’t have driven that far for a bookmark but I loved it so much that I did. My experience at the store was very pleasant, thanks to the polite and friendly staff.
I visit this store whenever I am visiting the area.Its such a lovely place and I feel like buying almost everything there. Don’t forget to try their sandwiches .They are delicious.

A rustic, historic Ontario gem.
[Parking] You can park for free in front of the store, although it is limited.
[Accessibility] the front entrance has 3 steps and the door isn't automatic.
[Atmosphere] Rustic and unique decor make this convenience store a lot of fun. I loved the wooden floors! There is a seating area in the back and a patio for you to enjoy your food.
[Service] Very friendly and efficient staff.
[Food] We didn't try the food, but it seemed delicious. They have breakfast and deli options.

Stopped in on the way back from the Badlands and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious coffee and mixed berry tart. I would definitely return!

Beautiful hike. The view of the falls is quite restricted but the walk to and from is very pretty. Decent hike with some steep bits. Wear proper footwear (flip flops or sandles won't work for this hike!)

Amazing staff! There is a nice indoor sitting room and comfortable deck for eating your amazing sandwiches and delicious ice cream! Love this place!💕

A very cute stop to visit, they also have suites upstairs for an overnight getaway. Worth a visit!
