Hasty Market

Cant comment on how this place has been run or how the service has been in the last 27 years but from the mid to late 80s to mid 90s i was frequenting this location multiple times per week as a 6 to 12 year old to buy mostly trading cards, read magazines, buy individual chip bags, and rent VHS movies. So many memories here. I once crashed off my bike and wiped out badly right in front of the store when i was 7 or 8 and the employees picked me up brought me to the back counter and bandaged me up. That was nice of them. I guess this is a nostalgic review.

These guys are amazing. The bread is always fresh and better than other afghan stores. The kebab and rice is good too. More importantly they're cheaper as well.. I haven't bought meat from them yet, so idk how is the meat..

The store location is good ,the owner is an amazing person ,the workers are friendly and the Afghan bread is just amazing .

The owners are very generous with they servings when it comes to halal meats. The marinade lamb is fabulous. I highly recommend this store.

Family run business, mostly Afghans products are available, there is a bakery on location and serve delicious Afghani Naans.

Very large convenience store, also provides Halal products. Very typical convenience store, with all your needs . Service could be more friendly,

A fine corner store. Doesn't take credit cards. Careful with expiry dates here, especially when purchasing chips.

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE FOR ANY REASON. The guy behind the cash with glasses is the rudest person ever. He yelled at me because my lotto tickets were not checked beforehand at the self-check machine. I'm pretty sure OLG does not have a stipulation that you have to check your tickets yourself before handing them to the vendor. I wouldn't even give them a zero for customer service, I would give them a -1 if there was an option. Pig in clothing behind the cash register. Do not shop here.

The owner is so incredibly rude. This is the closest convenience store to my house, but I make a longer trip to avoid stopping here. The prices are inconsistent and depending on who is at the cash they’ll charge you different amount. The store is also dirty with very limited stock. Drive a minute down the road and go to the Daisy Mart instead.

The worst person (owner) to own the store. He is a rude, unprofessional and has not idea how to even talk to customers. Never going back this store.

Would never return to this store ever. May give lower than 1 star if google had an option. I did not have a great experience at this store.

1. The marinated chicken was a frozen chicken and all icey. I did not expect that. I expected chicken to be fresh.

2. They said they accept debit only or cash. Did not even bother to tell me that there would be an additional charge for using a debit card. It came as a surprise after the cashier billed me and handed over the machine receipt.

Edit: Look at the reply of the owner. "Bank policy requires user to read the amount before paying."

By that logic, he can charge you $100 extra and get away with it. It is courtesy and customer service 101 to tell your customer the total amount, especially when you don't have a total amount showing on a panel/screen for the customer.

It is DECEPTIVE and FRAUDULENT to tell your customer verbally how much the total is and then charge them extra without disclaiming that extra amount.

Hopefully the bad reviews others have posted about the same issue will eventually light a bulb.

Place looks very clean and the bakers seem like good people. However the owner refuses to communicate and retires on the days I go to collect money for services provided for the bread making operation.
We at Legacy Air are a small business and would be bankrupt if we continued work for dishonest people like Wahid Yosofi and his team of thieves.
