Troyer's Spices

Love this spice shop. Walls are packed full with a colourful array of spices, blends, herbs, and salts. There are oils and a few other cooking miscellany sold as well. You can find most spice-related things here, and a lot of the blends are made in-house. Service is friendly, and happy to help you get what you need, in the amount you need. Everything is packed neatly in jars that you can open and smell, and prices seem good as well. Look forward to visiting again!

A great surprise to find this lovely shop that has a great selection of fresh spices that are mixed on site. They also carry sauces, rubs and marinating blends.

Nothing beats fresh spices on a fresh side of beef! This Duo knows everything there is to know about spices and doesn’t hold anything back! Best of all they have so many packaging options including spice straws to take camping for our campfire chilli!

What a lovely little store.

On June 26, 2021 I was passing through St. Mary's and decided to tour the strip. I saw this little spice shop and had to check it out. On entering, you're welcomed by a kind employee behind the desk and every possible smell that can be packaged as a spice. The selection is near unlimited and the prices are very good.

I happened across some dry cured chorizo sticks and picked them up along with a ton of spices and some maple pumpkin butter.

Place was clean and very well organized. It was a great experience all around!

A wonderful store! Fresh spices sourced from around the world neatly packaged in 1/3 c amounts and up. They will make a custom blend with amounts needed to suit your recipe. The owner is friendly and informative and the store layout is beautiful.

My husband and I recently moved eight hours away from St Mary's, and we miss Troyer's spices so much. They have such amazing spices that make all our cooking better. We were so excited today when our online order showed up. The pandemic is definitely better being able to eat such amazing meals made with their spices. They have lots of really unique spices for those of us who are more adventurous, but they also have a tonne of pre-made mixes that are sure to make anything you cook so much better. Thank you for making our cooking brighter and the pandemic a little less gloomy.

I visited the shop having no idea what to get as I do not cook and wanted to surprise my partner with spices for his collection. The 2 people who helped me were very sweet, patient, and helpful :)

Amazing experience from start to finish. Dan, the owner, is friendly and knowledgeable, and is quick to give suggestions if you need them. They make all of their own spice mixes, and their mixes are salt free, so you can control the salt content. I will definitely be returning here for my spice needs.

Troyer’s is an absolute gem in a resurgence of downtown St. Marys. The owners are passionate not only about their product (which is top notch) but also about their clients. You will always feel welcome, have a heart felt conversation, and most importantly never feel intimidated. This is where the chef’s shop, we love you!

One of my absolute favourite places to visit. Amie and Dan are great, and so very friendly & knowledgeable. Their product is amazing and they are very passionate. It's amazing the difference fresh spices make when it comes to your favourite dishes!

I believe that Troyer's has every spice and blend you could ask for. Amie and Dan and their staff provide great service and advice. This business is a wonderful asset to downtown St. Marys.

Awesome people work at this store. They have lots of special blends in all different categories. They were also very helpful in pointing my friend and I where to eat, where to shop and what is upcoming events in the town.

Great place for lots of info into flavour enhancing spices. Beautifully laid out.....amazing selection from far and wide, and friendly knowledgable owners!! You dont know what you're missing till you pop in!!

Excellent selection of herbs and spices. Here you will find those items not commonly carried by regular grocers.

If you want to give your favourite salsa the best added flavour, add one or two teaspoons of Salsa 6 Spice to a jar. Love it!
