The Farmer's Daughter Country Store

What a great place! They have almost everything. Not your typical touristy old grandma’s country store. Although granddaughter said grandma started this place years ago. Very nice regular clothing, outdoor clothing, outdoor equipment, toys etc. They have food coffee ice cream etc.

We started out in the gift shop which had lots of cool unique items for sale. Then we had lunch. I had the hamburger which was tasty. My wife had the bacon cheese hot dog which was also very good. They even have a great playground for children.

This was the perfect lunch stop while driving the Cabot Trail! We happened upon it by accident and it saved us from getting fast food at a gas station. The Turkey Club Sandwich was a thing of beauty! Lots of fresh baked goods, fudge and small grocery supply and adorable gift shop. Seems to be run by a group of young entrepreneurial women, love the vibe and would recommend this spot to anyone in the area!

My usual stop in Whycocomagh! Several types of coffee, fresh sweets, pies, breads, soup of the day including chowder... frozen food to take home (chili is awesome), meat - and a large inventory of clothes, souvenirs, packs in the adjoining store! Great little dinning area for R&R before getting back on the road!
They are located at the round about - big red building with plenty of parking !

Great place to get take out, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Fresh food. We came here for the bread recommended by one of the best chowder places nearby.

Warm welcoming folks! Tried their breakfast and loved their locally made blueberry jam! Tried thier ready to cook soup and it was yummy too!

Great little stopping place. Delicious food for a great price. I got some bread and cookies to go, they were so good!

Move over Mary browns this place has the best chicken in town, had a popcorn chicken poutine and the ratio of popcorn chicken to French fries was truly on point 👍

Stopped in and this place never disappoints. They added a lobster roll and it was nothing short of perfection. Picked up a high in demand Lemon Meringue Pie. Talk about a slice of heaven. Ya gotta eat here!

Had to stop for a quick washroom break and this place was pleasant surprise!! We got a beef sandwich and a pack of 6 cinnamon rolls. The sandwich was so juicy and flavorful, the rolls were homemade and packed with cinnamon. The store also has outdoor clothing and gears.

Nice store with several areas. Great place to get souvenirs. Prices are on the high side. The merchandise seems to be of good quality.

Great stop! Plenty of RV parking. Picnic tables out front to enjoy the treats. Frozen meals for sale that we will enjoy later. Really nice employees.

Best chicken wrap I’ve ever had. Delicious and huge. Burger was also tasty. Great value. Highly recommend stopping in.

Went to the washroom but there is a lot of amazing stuff there like baked goods etc.

Smells like heaven! Prices on clothing and such are your typical tourist prices. Expensive. But when vacationing, money doesn't count. LOL

Delicious foods. Someone else posted that they go here for lunch and always leave with other stuff. It was true for us, too. We're only in town for the day, but would stop by here again if we ever vacationed in NS again.
