Once Upon A Child

Open bright store with an insane amount of new born to young children clothing. It’s all second hand. The store is clean and well lit. There is ample parking outside and easy access to the store. The clothing is clean and priced very reasonably. My wife and I now have a grand child and came here to find some nice for her. We were impressed with the store.

This store is bright, spacious, and clean. You can easily shop the aisles with a stroller or cart. At the front of the store (on the right-hand side), they typically have a seasonal section set up so you can easily look through Halloween, Valentines, Easter, Christmas, etc. clothing options. The staff is always friendly and they will inform you about deals you may have missed when you are at the till checking out. You can bring in items that you are willing to sell to them, and they are typically pretty quick in going through them. They money you get from them for your items is pretty decent and typical for a thrift shop. They usually are quick to put a sign out on the sidewalk and/or the door if they are unable to take any selling buckets that day (because they are either too busy with a sale or they have had too many buckets dropped off to go through). They have a large book, shoes, and toy section too.

As for consignment, they hardly take anything. Items basically need to be brand new and unworn before they'll buy them, so don't expect to sell much here.

The staff is usually lovely.

A fairly mid sized ranged store for babies, infants and toddlers things. They sell quite new and fairly new children clothings and things. The staffs were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Will surely visit again. Just that they do not sell fairly used toddler car seats that I also needed when I visited the store.

Love the Sherwood Park store. It's clean, organised, not overpacked, and can shop with the stroller. Staff are kind and hard at work sorting items coming in in a timely manner. I am a repeat customer buying and dropping off items. I saved so much money and made a few bucks as well. Keep it up!

They have a pretty decent amount of kids clothes for cheap. It's like the infant/toddler version of winners. You can get name brand stuff for rock bottom deals. There is also toys, puzzles, and books to buy as well. I haven't tried this yet but they will buy the used clothes that don't fit anymore as well.

My first time in this shop and WOW! So many fabulous children's items for awesome prices. Even though I knew it was all second hand, in the vast majority of items you could not tell. Raven, who handled my check-out was super friendly and helpful. This grandma is definitely going to spoil her grandchildren by shopping here.

This location is nicer then the one near South Common since it’s bigger and has more selection. It is well organized and isles are large enough to shop with a stroller. It’s my favourite spot so far.

*So affordable* especially since little ones grow so fast the majority of clothes there have been worn a couple times. I've gotten the cutest outfits for my daughter here

I absolutely love going to this location! I brought in 2 boxes of clothing and was able to sell some to them. I shopped around while they looked through the clothing and was able to find a bunch of dresses etc for my girls. I always have a good experience coming into the store. Some may think their prices aren't fair for what they buy from you, but if you know what they pay for items (roughly 30% of what they sell the item for instore) before going in you have a better idea of what to expect. I will be back again soon

Love this little hidden gem of a store! The clothing is always in such good condition, sometimes you can find items that are brand new! Some of the items are priced rather high, given that this is a second hand store. We find that toys, baby gear/accessories are usually quite pricey. The clothing is priced more reasonably. We love going on their sale days because you can get so much nice stuff for really good prices

This is my favourite location! Clean store, great selection of clothes. And they always buy a good chunk of my children’s outgrown clothing for cash!! What’s not to love!

We found it a bit more expensive than other stores but much higher quality and variety. Very clean and organized. We love shopping here more than the other 2 locations. Parking is just in the front.

Generally very fair pricing. They have events where you can get 10 bodysuits for $10 so it's worth it for sure. I find though that you have to really pay attention to where they put the tag in to the clothing. A lot of the time they tend to stick the tag directly through the clothing and when you cut it off it leaves a hole. Only buy it if the tag is through the label on the back so it isn't automatically wrecked when you get it home. They don't pay a ton and are very picky on what they will buy from you so if it's not in perfect condition or a big brand name they won't take it. We still love going here.

Love this store! SO many great items at really reasonable prices! I also love the new points program so I don't have to keep track of the little stamp cards. They were great at converting all my stamps into the new points program. Thanks! Great job!

This is my go to store to sell to and buy from. I have 5 year old twins and so I love that I can get both of them clothes with a ton to choose from. Sometimes I find a load of special things and sometimes I find just one item that I like. It’s always changing so it fun to see everything new each time. Fair prices and they buy for fair prices as well. Love this place.

I don't care how well off you are or how poor. This store is a must for a family with a child.
Kids don't stay in clothes for long so why pay new prices?
You get gently used clothes at bargain prices.
There reward scheme is not just a scam to get your email.
When your done with your clothes return them in good condition and get paid for them.
Such a great idea and a benefit to any family.

Excellent place to buy your little clothes toys pretty much anything kid. Aswell today was my first time selling my old kids clothes to them and as long as the clothes are in good condition and not what they are overflowing with they will take them. I will definitely be going back the staff is super friendly and helpful aswell

GREAT PLACE! wonderful staff! Always a great experience. I love their deals and they have a great selection. I have 3 kids under 5 and it's my go to for affordable fabulous clothing, toys and baby essentials.

Sherwood Park location is by far my favorite location to date! The staff is pleasant to deal with and they only take in quality clothing free of stains and/or rips unlike some other locations I've visited. I will however mention that the store isn't very clean but it's not horrible.
